Sunshine Playschool Daycare Center INC.

My two kids went to Sunshine Play School as infants and throughout their childhood. The staff is great, very attentive to the kids needs, loving, caring. I never worried about their safety or we'll being it's like home away from home they are Family. The owner is awesome. I have witnessed the center grow from being an in home daycare to a well established child care Center for over twenty years. Keep up the great work SunShine!

This daycare is soo bad. I am a 11-year-old going to middle school, and I remember going here when I was seven the director is a terrible person there are two men that uses profanity with the kids. I also remember the two men had a fight in front of the kids using a lot of profanity . They use to laugh at me because I did the work wrong , they barely fed you though out the day especially in the summer. But , if you got hurt they would not call your legal guardian, instead they would put ice on it or a bandage. I accidentally hit my head on a shelf and had to get stitches and they didn't call my Mother or Grandmother or any legal guardian. To all Mothers, Fathers, Grandmother s or, anybody that wants to take their child here. I would NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. Thanks for understanding.

The staff all have a positive optimistic spirit and they are so kind. My 3 year old daughter loves going here and her teacher Ms. Danielle is the best!!!! She's started learning so much and the curriculum hasn't even started yet! My baby girl is treated like family when she's there and Ms. Danielle loves what's her job and you can tell that from how the children respond to her and even the rest of the staff. So thankful God put it on my mom's heart for me to look into this school!

Absolutely love this place more than my children. As of today I think the staff is grade A or close to it. My son and daughter comes home everyday with something new they have been taught by the teachers and the front office staff is above superb.

If I could put ZERO STARS I would !!!! The staff here as in Ms. Crystal the co director an Ms. Stinson they are lovely people and I believe care for my twins when in there care for the last four months !! However the OWNER Ms. Brandy whom I have never met personally but spoke with her for the first time verbally via phone was very rude and disrespectful you can tell her establishment is all about money because proper protocol wasn’t handle in my case. ***** This situation I’m about to explain is completely unrelated to anything daycare hence my frustration that my twins was kicked out !! Her daughter is a maid for a living and back in February I supported her services and let her clean my apartment her fee was $125 before she left my home she sent videos of the work an I sent payment via cash app and she via text sent that she received funds FAST FOWARD to April 15th @ 9:30pm her daughter calls about a reverse charge back in February I told her very respect that you said her n February when the service was done that you received the money it’s APRIL I have used cash app a million times since then and nobody has had a problem with how I pay or the receiving funds … the maid communicated that cash app said money will be in my account That next Tuesday April 19th. Of course it was not and that where the disrespect come in with me and the maid I lost my father in February and she spoke Ill on his name and also she spoke on my twins while they where in daycare at her mothers establishment….. as a mom I felt my kids where unsafe because it’s a family business no telling what they would do….. when I picked my kids up granted they are always hungry but this was a big difference they where screaming for food as if they had been starving the entire day …. Which I believe they was … Due to the maid and I situation which is completely unrelated to any daycare policy MS. Brandy kicked my kids out ( whom wasn’t coming back anyway ) I am a school teacher so I pay on the 15th and the 30th of every month 2 weeks in advance …. My babies had one week left and of course I want to be refunded for that week …. MS BRANDY refuse to do the right thing and return my funds… she said it’s in my contract …. At that point I called Riverdale police to retrieve my contract and as to be expected I didn’t sign one per her co director and stinson and the officer …. The paper contract has all the rules and policies of that establishment… I did and electronic sign and pay their first week of arrival which is DIFFERENT from the paper contact ….. no where on the electronic form says anything about a refund policy!! This is a civil suit and I have went the court route. Don’t bring your kids here and don’t support her daughters maid service it’s messy an all about the money ** I bet she will no longer speak on anybody else kids 😊
