Our son attended Sunshine house for 2 years and we love this school! We didn't want the rigidity of some of the Montessori schools in town but still were looking for the same practices. This school operates with the Montessori method...but better. The environment is loving and educational. We really enjoyed the sense community that this school fosters as well. Sunshine House is a dream come true for our family! I am so grateful for this preschool and its amazing teachers. Our daughter is thriving at Sunshine House after trying several other preschools. The experienced teachers are exceptional and give each child personalized attention to ensure success. The classrooms and outside play area are relaxing and peaceful for the children creating a wonderful environment where the children feel confident while they learn and grow. Our daughter amazes us with her personal, social, emotional, and academic growth since she began at Sunshine House. She LOVES school and is sad on the weekends when she doesn't get to go. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Sunshine House and its teachers, it is a magical preschool. We recommend Sunshine House to all of our friends!

Our son went to Sunshine House for 2 years. He had a great experience with every aspect of the school. We love the teachers and would highly recommend this school to anyone. It's especially good for people in the neighborhood who intend to send their kids to Flatirons Elementary.

Our three children attended Sunshine House...a total of six years. One really gets to know a place well over such a period of time. The staff is excellent...deeply caring and skilled. The school is a small neighborhood location and is a great scale for kids. The facilities work very well with great real-life experiences for children and great prep for elementary education. The playground is very popular with fun activities, trees and equipment. Kids love the trike and scooter loop. There are playhouses, lawns and lots of discovery. Inside activities are well structured. Many staff have been there for years and are invested in the kids and the school. If you're looking for a school close to CU and on the west side of Boulder, you should certainly consider Sunshine House.

Our two youngest children attended Sunshine House for three years and we cannot say enough good things about this wonderfully special place. Cathy and Monika have such a wonderful energy and calm about them. My kids loved going to school each and every day and the Montessori principles encouraged a very lovely sense of independence. This place is a local gem!
