Our daughter has gone here for over a year now starting when she was a year and a half. We especially love the design of the classrooms, indoor and outdoor areas and even the hallways. It’s in true Reggio style with lots of natural elements, beautiful colors and textures with tons of invitation for open ended, child led play. The teachers have always been very caring and thoughtful, and at this age there’s still daily photos and updates on snack/lunch and potty time/diapers. Of note, I was curious as to why BJS had only 4/5 stars and most of the negative reviews are from many years ago. There are more breaks and holidays where there’s no class during the year than I’d prefer but I’d still absolutely recommend BJS as much as any other Waldorf or Montessori style center.

Boulder Journey was an excellent fit for our son Jackson. They are caring, nurturing and he thrived at this school. The teachers are patient, enthusiastic and supportive of the various emotional processes an infant and toddler go through. He always had a smile on his face when we picked him up. We highly recommend Boulder Journey

Boulder Journey School has been an amazing school for both our children. Between the two of them, we've been a BJS family since 2010. We've loved the teachers, little ones and parents who have become a part of our lives through the school. Our daughters have always been treated with love, respect and kindness, and the Reggio approach has been a beautiful experience for them and us.
