Sunnymont Westside is such a loving community and the teachers are amazing! Attending for 2 years now and soon to be 3. My son and I enjoy it so much and both of us are learning! It's not only the kids who are being educated but parents are provided with useful parenting skills that are making our life and mutual understanding easier. 100% recommend

My two sons went to Sunnymont many years ago. It was the best educational decision I ever made. Later, I was to become a Kindergarten teacher and watched how the school districts pushed more and more academic demands on young children. I believe play based child education is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for young children. The best learning for children comes through play. They learn to cooperate with each other, they use their imaginations, they get valuable tactile stimulation for their nervous systems, they get physically stronger, they get choices to explore... Children need to have a childhood. There is societal pressure that more traditional school experience earlier is better for children to do well in their educational journey. I do not believe this to be true. Happy kids make happy adults. Developmentally appropriate, interesting, play-based education for children to learn and grow is not just valuable, but vital. Sunnymont is a school where the parent(s) learn as much as the children. It is a place where childhood is treasured, where children learn how to express themselves with their big ideas and their big feelings. It is a community of learners small and large. I was a Sunnymont parent over 20 years ago now, and I continue to look back on those years with fondness and appreciation, as do my children who still remember bits and pieces of it. The teachers at Sunnymont and now Sunnymont-Westside Parent Nursery School are top notch. They know how to communicate with children, create stimulating learning opportunities for children, and support parents on their parenting journey. It was a loving community that made a profound positive impact on my own parenting. As a former kindergarten teacher, I recommend young children to attend play based nursery schools rather than to go to a pre-K program. By how much? 100%!

As a parent, the thing I wanted most for my kids was to be in a loving, caring, teaching environment where they can learn how to be kind to one another and grow to be curious young kids. Sunnymont-Westside excels at exactly this. The teachers at Sunnymont are so skilled at meeting kids where they are and helping them to develop in a play-based environment that is rich with age-appropriate activities for their development. My son enrolled at Sunnymont during the pandemic, and he had A LOT of growing to do, he was so not used to being around other kids! Sunnymont embraced him with open arms and he has blossomed into such a wonderful, loving little boy. I've already signed my younger son up for the 1 day program, and I cannot wait for him to experience all that is Sunnymont!! Hoping more parents and kids discover this hidden gem!

I feel so lucky that we found Sunnymont! The teachers are amazing with the kids. Along with nurturing the kids' emotional and social health, I hugely appreciate how much education the parents also receive. I've learned so much and can easily say that I'm a better parent because of this preschool. Every child and parent is loved and respected, and I couldn't ask for a better preschool experience.

This school is amazing, the teachers are superb. I am so fortunate I have had all three of my children attend this parent co-op. It is a place "Where childhood is honored and parents and children learn together". I love the strong community support, and loving and nurturing environment. Check them out. :-)
