Both of my boys, ages 2 and 1, attend this daycare. The staff is genuinely caring and loving, and it’s clear how much they enjoy the children—my boys love them. There is always something fun happening and everyone from the teachers to the front office staff knows my children by name, which means a lot to me as a parent. I’m regularly told little stories about their day at pickup. I feel comfortable leaving my children here while I’m at work and have never once felt uneasy or worried. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-run. I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their children.

I’ve had three children attend this daycare over the years, and I can honestly say it continues to get better and better. Since the new director came on about a year and a half ago, the transformation has been remarkable. The school has become a place full of life—regular field trips, thoughtful parties, and meaningful family engagement activities that everyone enjoys and appreciates. As a parent receiving childcare assistance, it’s easy to feel like you should just be grateful for a spot, period. But this school goes far beyond the basics. To see what it has grown into—and to know my children get to be part of it—is something I don’t take lightly. Leaving your children in someone else’s care is one of the hardest things a parent does. But when I drop my babies off here, I know they are safe, genuinely loved, and treated with care and respect. They are not just supervised—they are valued. That peace of mind is priceless, and I’m deeply grateful for the leadership and staff who make this such a special place.

Our beloved daughter is really enjoying her time in Pre-K4. She always looks forward to going to school and especially loves the school's field trips, where she can freely explore, play joyfully, and continuously learn new things with her teachers and classmates. We are truly grateful for the nurturing and caring atmosphere the school provides. My family is from Vietnam, and our daughter had no English foundation when she first started school. As a parent, I carried many concerns, wondering which school could provide a safe, supportive, and loving environment where she would feel heard, cared for, and encouraged to express herself freely. I worried about how she would communicate without English, how she would integrate with teachers and friends, and even about simple things such as meals, milk, and drinking water at school. However, from the moment we joined Sugar’n Spice Acadiana's Preschool, all of those worries slowly faded away. The teacher’s patience, dedication and kindness, along with the warm and friendly classroom environment, have helped her adapt naturally and joyfully. I was so scared to send my little girl to daycare, just like so many parents are. But fast forward to now, and I can say with complete confidence that my daughter is truly loved and well cared for.The staff clearly loves what they do, and it shows in how they interact with the children each day. We have been with Sugar ‘n Spice for over 3 years now and I couldn’t imagine my daughters going anywhere else! From babies to their AMAZING PreK program, I feel like my girls are loved like they are part of the family. Every member of the staff knows my girls by name and greet us with a smile. My oldest constantly talks about her teachers and I am amazed at all the learning opportunities offered. I have full confidence my children will be well prepared for kindergarten and look forward to many more years with our SNS family!
