What Parents Say
These reviews appear to be for a Suffolk County traffic and parking violations agency, not a daycare center. The listing may be incorrectly categorized. Reviews praise staff friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism, though some note long wait times and administrative friction.
I am disappointed with my experience at Suffolk Traffic Court in Hauppauge. While the court did dismiss the improper plates ticket after I explained that I am a licensed dealer and the plate was legally displayed, the speeding ticket was still upheld, which I believe was unfair. The speeding charge alleged that I was traveling 62 mph in a 45 mph zone based solely on the officer’s direct observation and pacing, without radar or LIDAR confirmation. From my perspective, I know I was not speeding. The officer was behind me the entire time, passed me, looked directly at me, and then immediately pulled back behind me to initiate the stop. Given these circumstances, I strongly feel the evidence did not support the charge. Despite this, I was still required to pay over $300 in fines. I respect the court and the legal process, but I left feeling disappointed and unheard, particularly regarding how the speeding allegation was evaluated. I hope future cases receive a more thorough and balanced review of the facts presented.
Corrupt court system. This one in particular will punish the smallest infraction by making you pay exorbitant prices and waste an entire day to pay a simple ticket. Speaking of which a simple ticket here is charged 5 times higher here than anywhere else. And they are only open on weekdays during common hours so you likely have to leave work to go there. So punishing for no reason. Their 311 lines are useless and they managed to cram at least 4 hidden fees in paying a ticket somehow. Hope this court system in particular fails and is replaced by an actual body where the punishment fits the crime
I recently went before the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency regarding a school bus camera ticket, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When I tried to explain my situation, the judge was rude and dismissive, cutting me off repeatedly before I could even finish a full sentence. I was not given a fair chance to explain the circumstances of the citation. For context: I always stop for school buses. On this occasion, however, it was impossible to do so safely without causing a pileup on Jericho Turnpike. The bus was four lanes over, around a bend in the road, with cars in the turning lane blocking my view. By the time I saw the bus, I had maybe two seconds to react. I attempted to slow down, but a vehicle was literally three feet from my bumper going about 45 mph. An abrupt stop would have guaranteed a rear-end collision and potentially a multi-car accident. I tried to explain that this was, in my opinion, an emergency situation, not a willful violation. Instead of listening, the judge became argumentative and dismissive. The system seems designed to punish drivers automatically rather than take into account real-world safety situations. I believe Suffolk County should do a better job of providing a fair hearing process and recognizing legitimate emergency circumstances. Traffic laws are meant to protect people, not to punish drivers who make the safer choice in the moment.
Got a ticket for having a protective plate cover that wasn’t even shaded over both plates so 2 tickets and then they fabricated a story that I rolled through a stop sign I sent in a plead of not guilty they said they never received it and I moved to Virginia now when I went to replace my Virginia license because I lost it they tell me they can’t issue me a replacement due to an indefinite suspension in New York so I call New York and they tell me I’m supposed to pay a lawyer thousands to go enter plead or show up in person to set a court date and then appear in court like are you serious? They put my life on hold and put my freedom at risk of being arrested driving with a suspended license due to their money hungry grubby little hands in everything trying to steal from the residents of New York and now I’m calling and it’s almost 8:30 am and they still haven’t opened the phone lines meanwhile it clearly states it should be open at 8 am so it’s ok for them to be late but when I do it, (even though I wasn’t) it costs me thousands of dollars? Mak it make sense. Abolish the tpva
Terrible experience I’ve been trying to get tickets paid for months now due to me not living in New York suggests the court create an easier alternative god forbid your finally able to pay it past the due date you won’t be able to pay it over the phone or pay it online this is the worst court system in the United States Of America
