My kids love this daycare! When we first moved to the area it was my first experience with Daycare for the kids. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable. The staff is all very nice, they have always communicated well with me. Both of my kids learned so much during their preschool time that they were considered above average when they hit Kindergarten. We also love that there is field trips and fun activities in the summer!
My son went here for a while and I liked it, it was convenient for my son's dad and I to both travel there. They did a few learning things in classes, which I appreciated. They have a fenced area for all of the kids to play. They separate the babies, toddlers, and older kids. The building is very small, but it seems to work just fine. They allowed us to drop our son off at any time and pick him up any time. It worked for co parenting so we had a safe drop off area. Once I moved I no longer wanted to drive to the daycare because it was so far away. They were very nice about us leaving and told us we're always welcome. However they never showed me a monthly bill, so I never knew how much I owed, I always had to ask. On holiday months sometimes price would change and I was never informed on what the price was adjusted to. They accepted our payments as they came, but it was frustrating not being able to see what was going on (on paper.) I could've asked more, but I am a very busy single mom and I forget things! After we left my son's father wanted a reimbursement for the last month because he only went for 2 weeks and they ignored my phone calls. I just let it go, I wasn't worried about it. Nice teachers, but I feel like they don't pay attention to detail. This is just a daycare though, they said they did "pre school" activities, but I was never notified, I was caught by surprise when I asked the owner "What should I be doing about pre school?" and her response was "Oh, he's in pre school already." I just didn't feel super confident about everything. I was also a young, new, single mother... I didn't know what to expect when finding a good daycare. My son came home with a gouge in the back of his head one day, because I co parent I had no idea if it was from his dad's or the daycare. I asked the teacher and she said, "I don't know what happened I wasn't outside with the kids." I like to know what is going on, the teachers didn't communicate well enough about injuries. A few times he would have scrapes on his legs, teachers "don't know" what happened, they "think" he fell playing... and then my son would say things like "that kid hit me with his bike" or " I fell off the table." Mind you, he was 2-3 at the time so I wasn't sure what to believe. Teacher's should've been able to tell me what happened. They are very nice, awesome groups, they are inexpensive, and my son was fed every day, but if you're looking for a strong preschool I would look elsewhere.
I've been searching and searching for the right fit for my little guy and me. I was greeted with all smiles and felt so at ease.. I just walked in off the street no appt no nothing and was greeted so kindly. They showed me around told me all about what happens during the day. I left there feeling so excited and at ease about leaving my little guy at a daycare.. Thank you to Jennifer and her staff for being so welcoming and helping my daycare experience rest at ease.. :)
My kids have been going here for 4 years and love it. They even ask to go on days they don't need to. Jennifer has always been flexible with my schedule and her tuition is the best around!
