Steam Academy Preschool

I haven’t personally toured STEAM Academy Lafayette yet, but I’ve heard amazing things from other parents. Everyone speaks highly of the engaging science lab and how much emphasis the program places on vocabulary development and hands-on learning. It sounds like the teachers truly make learning exciting and help children build curiosity and confidence from an early age. Based on all the great feedback, STEAM Academy Lafayette seems like a wonderful environment for both academic and personal growth.

All three of my kids have gone through STEAM Academy (one is now in fifth grade, one is now in third grade, the baby is in PreK with them) and they have all been MORE THAN prepared to go to and be successful in Kindergarten. With all things, there have been times where teacher turn over was a bit of a concern but that hasn’t been my experience in a number of years. The teachers my kids have had have been by and large the most kind, affectionate, compassionate, and loving teachers. My kids love them, even the older ones when we pick up baby sister. Christie has been an incredible director and I love that STEAM has promoted from within for a lot of their higher positions. I have never had to worry about whether or not my children are being cared for or safe with them. The emphasis on Jesus is another huge bonus! Every classroom incorporates this differently but you can tell God is still discussed, etc. Some of our favorite teachers across the years have been: Ashley, Emma, Brenda, Amber, Justine, Teresa, Ashley, Onyapa, Kari, Matea, Katelyn, … you get the idea 😉 I love this place and they have loved my babies in a way that I’ll never take for granted.

My 4-year-old daughter is in Ms. Justine’s preschool class at Steam Academy, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience! She absolutely loves going to school every day and adores her teacher. Ms. Justine has been such an integral part of her development—she is patient, caring, and truly goes above and beyond for her students. It’s amazing to see the strong bond they’ve built, and I can tell my daughter feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. The environment at Steam Academy is warm and welcoming, and I love knowing my child is in a place where she’s thriving. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a nurturing and engaging early education experience!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this daycare! From the moment we walked in, Miss Brittany made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Her genuine warmth, attention to detail, and compassion for every child is remarkable. My little one absolutely adores her, often coming home excited to tell us all about the day's adventures. The daycare itself is impeccably clean, safe, and filled with engaging, educational activities. Every morning we're greeted with smiles and positivity, making drop-offs so much easier. Communication is excellent, and Miss Brittany consistently updates us on our child's day, including milestones and memorable moments. If you're looking for a daycare filled with love, learning, and laughter, this is the place! A huge thank you to Miss Brittany and the entire wonderful team for caring so beautifully for our child. Was a nervous wreck at the idea of sending my infant to daycare and intimidated at the paperwork, and previous reviews. But it's been good. The Director and women there have made it easier to navigate. My son has been going for 4 months now and lights up when he sees Miss Jocelynn. He seems happy and stimulated with everything they do. They're worth a shot.
