I recommend checking their Facebook page for more accurate reviews! A lot of the google reviews seem like disgruntled parents. The daycare was recommended to us in a local mom group and besides having to fight for a spot, they have been super accommodating. Our daughter is currently 14 months and started when she was 11 months. I like Brightwheel, I get pictures from time to time, we get crafts, the workers are nice and consistent for the most part. This was the only local daycare that I heard offers part time and I have had open discussions about their rates with other moms and its very average, daycare is just expensive in general. Our daughter also loves stay and play!

I Picked up my son the other day, walked outside noticed all scratches on his face and they didn’t even call to let me know about the incident! Walked right back in there and asked what happened to his face! I was told my baby scratched up his own face !! Not until I called back up there again to speak with someone higher because I know my baby and he wouldn’t just sit there and scratch his own face!!! then she tell me “a baby fell on him causing all of those scratches on my baby face?!” I went up there because I wanted answers to what happened to my baby because that doesn’t even sound right! and they called the police on me and the police asked them to refund me my money for the whole week!! He didn’t even agree to what she was saying because it didn’t make sense!! I told the lady if kids get hurt there they need to inform the parents ! She said they don’t inform the parents unless the child had to get stitches or something like that. I 100% do not recommend sending your child to this daycare!

We have been taking our girls to Stay & Play for almost 4 years and we can't say enough wonderful things about them. The owner and her staff are very experienced and do a great job, the center is immaculate and the families who go there are all very nice and trustworthy. Our kids are very happy and we are very thankful to have found them. If you are looking for a day care, Stay & Play is the BEST!!!!

We had a good experience at Stay & Play Dare Care. The building was always impeccably clean and smelled very nice. The rooms are organized with fun toys. Any time we would come in, our 1 (almost 2) year old was listening to music or toddling around. They did activities that he really learned from. My son was born extremely early and was behind. We believe that he began walking sooner, talking sooner, and memorizing things sooner because of daycare. It helped his social skills too. They encouraged his learning. His teacher would do sweet little crafts on holiday. We really appreciated Miss Kay. She also would text cute videos to us and take pictures of him. She is very professional, good at what she does, and trust worthy. Our son liked her and felt comfortable with her. I would absolutely trust her with him again. They did fun table activities and took photos as well. I appreciate daycare teachers immensely due to how hard they work and how little they are paid. The rate here was more than fair and within our budget. I did not find that the daycare allowed sick children and when covid hit, they took precautions. We ended up having to pull our son out due to COVID as he has a chronic lung condition. But I think Stay & Play was a good choice and would go there again. Any and every day care is going to have poor reviews as people get upset and need an outlet to air their grievances. Give little weight to negative reviews. Check the DCFS inspections and see what DCFS found wrong and how it was corrected. Also check out their facebook for cute photos and more reviews. I think Stay and Play is a great choice and has the bonus of being easier on the budget.

This business is all about the money. We put our daughter on the wait list and put the application fee down as well as the first 2 weeks of care, per their request. We ended up needing to withdraw our daughter from the waitlist around Christmas time. When I called to speak to someone about the refund for the first two weeks we put down I was told they would speak to the owner and call me back. NEVER got a call back. Called again and spoke to Heather who said she would speak to the owner and call me back. AGAIN, never returned my call. Finally, I called and spoke to Heather again who simply said "Sorry we don't refund any of the 2 weeks you put down." She could have said that from the get go. I asked if they could PLEASE consider a refund as I was not informed of this "policy" when we gave them this money. I basically groveled, and begged. It was right before Christmas and we needed the money. We have 2 small children and a Christmas to fulfill. Didn't matter. Nope wont refund it. Didn't matter that I was not informed of this policy or not. I feel robbed, taken advantage of, and completely disappointed. I am thankful my child ended up not going here. I don't want money hungry, heartless people caring for my baby.
