What Parents Say
School of Perpetual Motion receives mostly positive feedback, with parents praising staff care, developmental progress, and enrichment activities like gymnastics and music classes. However, one detailed negative review from a former parent describes hygiene, maintenance, and supervision concerns from approximately 2 years ago, though the reviewer notes the director from that period is no longer there.
We love this daycare and their staff! We went to another school prior to this. My son was falling behind in speech and social development. Within 2 months of starting at Perpetual Motion I noticed a major improvement in his speech and how he interacted with other students and teachers. He is thriving at this school. His teachers are very sweet and have great relationships with both the kids and the parents. They care so much for their student and their development! We love all the physical activity he gets as well. He comes home exhausted and tells me everyday he had a fun day. They do a great job when he is having separation anxiety due to me being at work. They come up with fun activities for the kids. We love this school ❤️
♥️ Love this preschool! It's been such a blessing for us. Our son started here this fall. The kids have gymnastics, art, & music classes weekly. There are large, gated playground areas (separated by ages), small teacher to student ratios (big for us!), lunches/snack provided, doors are always locked when I pop in, it always smells super clean, & everyone is so sweet! We get updates on our child's meals, moods, diaper changes, etc... daily. We love his teachers & they are great to communicate on Class Dojo for any needs, concerns, & class announcements. We toured other facilities that were more expensive, but they had kids seated wall to wall in small rooms (max teacher to student ratio) with much less time to play outside & no other classes comparable classes to Perpetual Motion's gymnastics for the kids.
Contrary to a previous review by another former parent, our experience was amazing. The previous director was amazing with my nonverbal autistic son (who was the child that continued to try eating rocks by the way), and called us every time that happened explaining, and ran to try to keep him from hurting himself. This preschool was amazing for my son and we are thankful for the season we had with them.
My son went there about 2 years ago, he was only there for 9 months, long enough to get him in another school. The 1 recent good review is from a teacher. My son would come home with snot and dirt caked on home when I would ask why they aren’t cleaning him, they would say…he’s a kid and gets dirty. A child in his class literally would eat rocks and the director ( no longer there) would say oh well, he will poop it out. The windows leaked, the toys were broken, the grass was literally NEVER cut. My son would come home with bug bites all over him. When they combine the classes they literally put the kids in front of a movie while the “teacher” sits on their phone. They don’t keep you updated on what they are learning. I wouldn’t recommend this school to ANYONE!! For a small fee more I bring my son to another school, where he has thrived! Do yourself a favor and find another school.
My daughter is autistic and non verbal. This school was inclusive and supported each and every one of her needs. From the director to her teachers, everyone that was involved with my daughter’s care were so loving and truly carried about her growth. They allowed her therapists to come work with her which is so important to her journey. I would recommend this preschool to anyone.
