Star Child Academy Windermere

We are extremely grateful for StarChild Academy Windermere. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this school. The teachers are truly excellent, patient, caring, and always going above and beyond to make sure the kids feel supported and safe. This childcare is outstanding, and much of that is due to Ms. Elsie's leadership as Director. She is caring, professional, and truly dedicated to the children and families. Communication with families is excellent, and we feel confident knowing our child is in great hands. We highly recommend this school.

I want to share how wonderful Starchild Academy in Windermere has been! The school is warm, organized, and truly focused on children’s growth. I especially want to mention Ms. Ingrid from the preschool classroom. She is incredibly lovely, patient, and attentive with every child. I’ve had the chance to see how she works in the classroom, and it’s clear the children are truly learning and thriving under her care. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be supported, engaged, and well cared for, don’t hesitate to come to this amazing school. Highly recommended!

I am happy for sending my daughter to StarChild Academy, I have seen a lot of improvement in her behavior and the ability to learn. the teachers and staffs are very professional, respected and loving people. We moved my son to this school when another school told us he was upset and crying all the time and hiding under tables. Since day one his whole demeanor has changed and loves coming to school now to see his teacher and friends! He also does the Sports class once a week and now wants to kick a soccer ball all the time. I cannot recommend this school more than anything just for the fact he is truly taken care of and his happiness means the world to me! We are going to be transitioning his little brother in a few weeks and cannot wait to see what else is in store for my two boys!

This is our personal experience with this daycare. Our daughter told us several times that a staff member pinched her. We noticed a mark on her skin that looked like a pinch, and we reported the situation both to the daycare and to Child Protective Services. The incident was not visible on the cameras, but our child confidently pointed to the same adult more than once. In addition, she often came home with soiled underwear, and it seemed that she wasn’t being helped with hygiene after using the bathroom, even though she still needed assistance at that age. Another thing we noticed was that teachers changed very frequently, which made it difficult for children to build trust. However, despite these concerns, our daughter had wonderful relationships with many of the teachers, and we truly appreciated their kindness and care. All of this made us very concerned, and we decided to transfer her to another daycare. We are not making accusations — we’re simply sharing our experience, which was important for our family.
