What Parents Say
Star Brite Kids receives mostly positive reviews praising caring staff, quality activities, and healthy meals. However, one parent reported serious concerns about potty training assistance, inadequate supervision during nap time, and alleged physical handling of their child.
Love Star Brite. All the teachers are amazing and my kids love them. They plan awesome summer activities for all the kids including water play days, field trips, riding bikes, and fun holiday parties throughout the year. They make the kids breakfast and lunch with plenty of snacks. I also love the opportunity for professional photos. There's lots of planning that goes into creating a fun environment but also age appropriate school lessons. Would recommend this school to anyone. Thank you for all you guys do!
Our 9 month old has been attending Star Brite Kids since she was 8 weeks old. The teachers are phenomenal and so loving. Not only do we feel at complete ease taking her here during the work day knowing she'll be loved and attended to, we also are seeing her learn so fast! We love the staff at Star Brite and will continue to recommend it to all our friends and family.
My son has attended this daycare since he was two and a half months old and is now almost four. I had a lot of anxiety putting him in daycare but when we shopped around we felt that this was the ideal place we wanted our child to be in. The majority of the caretakers are not only mothers themselves but have been working for this business for a long time. This means you don’t have a bunch of teenagers with no experience in raising kids taking care of your babies. The facility is very clean and they even have a cook who makes real healthy food from scratch, not frozen pizzas. Half of the staff is bilingual which was really important for me because I want my son to be around other languages and cultures that help him to embrace all people regardless of differences. Even on the weekends my son talks about “Lynnie’s House” and all of his teachers in a way that shows me he feels safe and comfortable every day. They also are extremely flexible with my husband’s work trips and allow my son to come and go on different time schedules, as needed, which other daycares did not want to accommodate. If you want a daycare to give your child a down to earth but loving experience I highly recommend.
my 3 year old grandson was there for approx 7 months. they told my daughter they would assist with potty training, but after a month of being there she would pick him up and he would be in different clothes supposedly during nap time he would have an accident on his clothes at least once a week. Lynn the owner asked my daughter to buy diapers for his naps. so no potty training was done at all they were taking him backwards. He never wanted to go and we didnt realize the extent to why until the last full day he was there. Hes a huge eater but that evening after being there all day he ate full size meal for an adult and he was asked what he ate at "school" , he said he didnt he was "bad". He also said in much detail that he was grabbed by his neck and pushed on his bad. In 2 weeks at a very loving new "school" He wants to go everyday , is now fully potty trained and says he loves it there. He knows the way we drive to this day care and sadly says dont go that way its a bad "school". THIS PLACE DOESNT GIVEN 1 STAR THERE IS NO RATING FOR THEM.
We love Star Brite Kids. They genuinely care about the kids and their development. The building is older but it’s always clean.
