What Parents Say
Star Academy has highly polarized reviews with stark contrasts. Five parents gave perfect 5-star ratings praising the loving staff, cleanliness, and child development, while five parents gave 1-2 star ratings citing poor staff behavior, inconsistent discipline practices, lack of proper care protocols, and discriminatory admissions attitudes.
Tried to explain a situation about my nephew, and the person on the phone said, “we don’t accept children like that.” What kind of daycare says that, obviously my nephew is not perfect he has flaws, he misbehaves when he’s nervous.. wouldn’t recommend to anyone after with who I spoke with on the phone.
I have had kids in this daycare since 2007, I have never had any problems with anyone there. My kids always enjoy going. The teachers always communicate with me what is going on with the kids I couldn't be more happy with this daycare and Iook forward to many more years.
Sending a child home in a pullup after being told multiple times the child is to not be in a pullup, mind you, the child has several extra pairs of clothes there. They are also giving the kids any blanket and pillow to use at nap time instead of the child's own belongings. They call the kids babies when they have an accident for not letting the kids go to the restroom. They are also sending kids home with no shoes and in other children's clothes. The teachers will not take blame for any of their actions and act like the parents are not doing their job.
Star academy is the best daycare in this area. The love and care they have for their kids is the best. No other daycares around this area treats the kids and staff as good as star does. I recommend star academy to bring your littles to this daycare!
Took a while to review but you can find better. I asked for a trial & my son did not like it at all. I told them he has never been in a daycare before and they didn’t care to ease him in. No comfort when he would cry even though it was his 2nd or 3rd day. They didn’t try to draw his attention on something, they just sat on their phones. I never met his teacher only the aides. Apparently she was only there 4hrs per day? Basically i paid for teenagers to watch him. Could’ve done that in the comfort of his home.
