I intended to write a review earlier but got distracted. The front office lady is friendly and clearly has her office skills, customer service skills down pat. You can see she is confident and enjoys her work. I made changes to the extras I wanted and even my check out date and she was so good about both. I walked my girls to their cages and the area was clean and the dogs appeared comfortable. We will use them again.
Can’t say enough about how much we love bringing our dog here for daycare and boarding. She goes to daycare once or twice a week and LOVES it. The staff are nice and they wear her out which is great! No complaints 10/10 should bring your dog here. Pic of my dog right after bringing her home for reference 😂
We had taken our dog here a few times for boarding with no problems that we noticed. The most recent stay my dog had was the absolute worst! I walked in for pick up & the lady at the front desk had told me my dog had a sore on her paw and was limping a bit- when she walked my dog out, my dog couldn’t even walk! Limping on all 4 paws! There was NO communication to me before the day I picked her up! My dog was there for 2wks and I didn’t get a call, text or email telling me my dog was injured/in pain! The lady that was at the desk said she didn’t notice that she was hurt until her edit bath- which hard to believe since all 4 paws were red and raw and she couldn’t even walk to us. Very upset with this situation and the lack of communication.
I can’t say enough about Almost Home. They have cared for my energetic, young German Shepherd since he was an adolescent and have taken amazing care of him every time. I recently moved about 2.5 hours away from Temple, and I got rejected by several boarding places in my new location due to aggression. In a panic, I called Almost Home 1 day prior to our boarding service needs (12 days total needed). Initially it did not look feasible, but they called me later in the day to tell me they had a cancellation and booked me. Truly a godsend Almost Home is. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you, Almost Home!
I can’t thank this facility enough for the well taken care of staff they have!! We took our 2 year old Pomeranian Mix dog, Honey. She’s a very shy dog and needs constant love and attention because she gets lonely but their staff was so wonderful in keeping her loved. We took her in last minute and they were very helpful into squeezing her in. I would totally recommend this place!! Such a friendly staff and kept us updated, Honey loved being here.
