I was raised in an ELCA church in another state. Since moving here, I looked for a church and finally found the one that makes me feel at home. The congregants are very friendly and welcoming. I like the sermons and their relevance to our daily lives. They have a mix of traditional and modern (band) music and also a bell choir. Communion is offered every week. What I love most is how much they focus on helping others. There are always multiple drives for food, clothing, school supplies, etc. STHS truly follows God's word.
As an LCMS pastor, I had a lovely, Christ-Centered experience in helping an individual with the cooperation with your ELCA pastor, Jill Seagul. She’s doing the Lord’s work. I’m thanking the Lord for her service!

My son loved TLC when he started attending 3 years ago. At the time the administration was filled with teachers and caregivers that truly loved kids and treated them with love and kindness. The vibe has definitely changed over the years and the teachers do not show the kids any kind of love or affection. Also if you are looking for a school that will keep you informed, this is not it. You will not know day to day or even a weekly basis what your child is doing or how they are doing. There is no communication unless you have a 2-5 year old that is good at explaining things like an adult.
