Shortly after relocating to the Richmond area in 2024, I walked in to the 11:15 AM Service at St. Stephen's one Sunday in early May and quickly realized I had found my new church home on the first attempt. The music program is stellar, the preaching lively, relevant and with great insight, the liturgy very well done, the church sanctuary is beautiful, the energy is pervasive and the programming very robust. If you are looking for a church home in the Richmond area and are familiar with or interested in or just curious about the Episcopal tradition, I highly recommend St. Stephen's. It is church done right!
This church is a wonderful place... everyone is so kind and helpful🙏 Today was my first day visiting their pantry and I am so thankful and blessed to find such warm and organized help and wonderful resources. Thank you so much for helping the community 🙏 ❤️
St. Stephan's offers a number of worship opportunities appealing to a wider worship preference. The large, beautiful campus affords the community a number of outreach programs for children, those in recovery among others. There are also services for the disadvantaged. The music program is among the finest in Richmond.
Beautiful and unique and peaceful, it almost feels like a cross between a medieval Castle and Hogwarts! They are also extremely supportive in recovery 12 step meetings. Although I am not a member of the church, I feel so much love an serenity from God here when I visit 🌈🙏🏽
