7 years wonderful and inviting experiences even without attending church services there. All staff welcoming and helpful in every way. All clergy trained to counsel with people, and someone is pretty well always available. Every time I needed someone to talk to, I had the best, most compassionate people! I can also go there any time to spend time alone in the sanctuary or someplace to write or pray.
We went to the early service, which was very peaceful. The people are lovely and welcoming. They had pews marked off to keep everyone socially distanced so we felt very comfortable being there and were able to relax and enjoy the service. The stained glass windows are gorgeous.
If your want an old world style place to worship, look no further than St.Pauls!
A kind warm group of people. I found the church welcoming. It is liturgical so a little formal for some, but the history behind the words in those prayer books connects the modern worshipper with the love and faith of literally millions before them. With Love there is no time and space, we are one.
I went to get help from the alms ministry that provides help to the people in the community but while I was waiting for the ministry to open a vagrant began harassing me because of my weight and skin colour. It became terrifying when he began to threaten my life. Sad thing is when I reported it to the police the woman working in the cafeteria protected the vagrant and said he didn't directly threateny life. I'm confused, if it happened to anyone of them they would have called the police. But it happened to a minority so I believed they thought it was OK. Be careful when going there protect yourself with pepper spray and call the police at any sign of trouble. Because, they told me they were going to handle it but didn't report it to the authorities.
