I cannot say enough amazing things about this childcare center. My son (4) currently attends A childs life, he has since he was 1. Every teacher in this center that I have come in contact with from infant to toddler has shown so much care and attentiveness to my son. He has a speech delay, that alone can be very frustrating for him and anybody who is caring for him. The teachers there are not only using sign language with him, they incorporate songs, pictures, movements and sounds to talk to my son and figure out his wants and needs. He gets dropped off with a smile and picked up with a smile. His progress has been nothing short of remarkable, he comes home with a new word everyday. I am so grateful to this center for being in our lives. They make dropping off your kiddo easy and comfortable, which can be hard when your leaving your most precious gift with another person.
Both of my daughters went here and it was a wonderful experience for them. They were always very well taken care of and encouraged to learn and grow. They were truly loved through their time at the center. When one of my daughters started Kindergarten, the Elementry school was incredibly impressed on how well prepared she was. I highly recommend you give this place a visit!
A single dad of a toddler boy. A year ago I was vetting local preschools/daycares (I looked into a couple in the Bellingham area) when I found this center. I was impressed by how patient and caring the staff were from the outset -- a year down the line that impression hasn't changed. The instructors and staff are great! I trust them with my son (I say that as an over-protective dad). They have always worked with me as far as accommodations. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking for good childcare in Whatcom County.
Such a great space for kids. They have thought of everything. The space is so kid friendly and really helps in allowing them to have creative free play. We're grateful to have A Child's Life in our community!
After sending two of my children to A Child's Life Learning Center, I can truly say it has been the very best child care experience I've ever had. Both of my children that attended for nearly 2 years were cared for and attended to with extreme care and love every day. They did beautiful crafts daily, and always bragged about how much fun their day was. If myself, or either of my children, ever had a worry or concern the amazing team of directors made sure to address promptly, with honest conversation and realistic solutions; though any worries or concerns were few and far between. My children were fed quality food every day, making sure their nutritional needs were met and spent plenty of time outside as well. This center definitely balances the children's needs well, and creates a fun environment for them to be in.
