We’ve had a great experience with My Learning Treehouse Montessori and are happy we chose this school for our son. He enjoys going to school and feels comfortable and happy there. We really appreciate the Montessori approach. Our son isn’t expected to sit all day and just listen — he gets to move, explore, play, and learn in a way that feels natural. The teachers and staff are kind, patient, and supportive. Communication with the teachers and with Kanu is always easy and supportive, which gives us confidence as parents. The schedule works well for our family. School runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexible drop-off and pick-up options. Being able to pick up our son at 4:00 PM is very helpful for our work schedule. Overall, this is a warm and caring school with a positive environment. We feel comfortable and confident having our son here and would definitely recommend this school to other families.

My oldest son has been enrolled here for nearly two years, and the growth we've seen academically, socially, and emotionally, has been extraordinary. He came in shy and hesitant, and he has blossomed into a confident, curious child who loves learning and communicating with others. He now problem-solves on his own, initiates conversations, and brings home life skills he proudly teaches his younger brother. Because of the trust we've built, I recently enrolled my youngest son as well. One of the most meaningful parts of our experience has been the genuine care the staff has shown our family. When my father passed away unexpectedly about a year and a half ago, the teachers and administrators surrounded us with warmth and compassion. They checked in daily, supported my son through his big emotions, and made sure he felt safe and loved during an incredibly difficult time. That type of care comes from people who truly value the children they work with. Communication has always been clear, consistent, and responsive. The staff is proactive in sharing updates, answering questions, and making sure parents feel informed and included. Over nearly two years, any small hiccups that naturally happen in childcare have been handled with transparency, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. My son has developed strong, trusting relationships with his teachers, both under the previous ownership and the current leadership. He talks about them with so much affection, and it's evident that they genuinely know and appreciate him as an individual. They celebrate who he is, encourage his interests, and guide him with patience and respect. The sense of belonging and stability he feels at school has been a major factor in his growth. Every family and child is unique, but I can confidently share that this school has been a nurturing, communicative, and supportive environment for both of my children. We are grateful every day for the foundation it has provided, and I am thankful for the teachers who care for my boys as if they were their own.

This is my daughter’s first year in school and I could not be happier with how this has gone. We have felt included and respected as parents throughout the entire year. Communication of current activities, how our daughter has been acting, improvements/wins as well as struggles or difficulties have been clearly communicated. Plans for actions, education and improvements in areas needed seem very relevant, realistic and appropriate. Simply put we feel they pay close attention to our daughter as well as the others while also being able to provide an individual learning plan for each. They listen when we talk and take us seriously. My wife and I feel as parents we have made the best decision we could have for our 3 year old.

New management (Mt.Tahoma previously) , but most staff are the same. My son has been in this school multiple years and couldn't be any happier. Owners and all staff are all very nice, friendly and involved in making sure kids get to learn and enjoy school. My son has gained so much knowledge and made huge progress. He comes home exited to tell us about all the new things he's learning/doing. The school has a nice outdoor area that kids love. Plus for us was the location. Close to freeway, easy with pickup and drop off. I would definitely recommend this school.

My Learning Tree in Auburn has been such a beautiful experience for our family. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and supported. The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and truly care about each child’s growth and well-being. Rollie thrived here—he felt safe, encouraged, and happy every day. The environment is nurturing, playful, and thoughtfully structured. We watched him gain confidence, make friends, and come home excited to share what he learned. I’m so grateful for the love and care the staff pour into their work. If you’re looking for a preschool where your child will be genuinely seen and supported, I wholeheartedly recommend My Learning Tree. Sarah A
