I am new to the parish community and it's not as culturally diverse as I'd like it to be; it meets my worship needs and expectations. It's loud before mass and people don't respect that it's a place of prayer, meditation, reflection, and preparation. Folks seem to have forgotten that others may not wish to hear all the unnecessary conversation that should take place outside the main church: allowing those who want to sit, pray, reflect, meditate, and prepare themselves for the Eucharistic celebration the ability to do so without being subjected to the banter and inane conversation. For some, this is the only prayerful environment that is availabe to spend time with the Blessed Sacrament and to pray.

I grew up going to this church. I've always liked how accepting and friendly everyone is. It is not hardcore like some Catholic churches. They allow alter girls. The music is WONDERFUL!!!! The homilies are enjoyable as well as educational. They have 11am children's mass where they take the kids at a certain point in the mass and go do a children's reading and help them understand the messages from the Bible better.
