In the past year and a half, under the new director, did a complete 180. I cannot be happier. The kids are so well behaved in the classroom and learning is always fun and engaging. They potty trained my daughter at age 2. She is 3 now and teaching me sign language. The staff is amazing. For the first time in October 2019, they did an trunk or treat with games and pony rides and they also have a dance teacher come in on Wednesdays to teach dance and then have a super cute recital.
After bringing my son here for a year, I can say that I am truly pleased with the direction the new Director is taking the program. The Teachers are educated and loving adults, it's sad to say--but you don't find that at many centers. My wife is due with our second child in a few short months and I am thrilled to have an environment like Pilgrim. There has been an appropriate amount of staff taking care of the children on my surprise visits, the attitude of the staff is Christlike, and TV is not the sitter. There isn't even a TV in my son's classroom, another rarity from my experience. I called to discuss the vision of the new Director and found her to be quite impressive. The only stain on the center is a group of parents that have been stirring the pot since the transition. The best way to describe it would be Mean Girls meets Pretty Little Liars. That drama was at my child's previous center back in San Diego, standard fare. All in all, I recommend if you want a safe loving environment with top notch professionals taking care of your child.
Pastor Burt and Everyone are Very friendly, people are welcoming. Definitely will continue going to Sunday service.
