My son is in his second semester of preschool at SJLEEC and he loves it! He looks forward to going to school every day and usually doesn't even want to leave at pickup. All of the teachers at St. James are extremely kind and thoughtful! My son frequently comes home singing new songs and tells me about new things that he has learned. I love the comfortable atmosphere and appreciate how the teachers put together super fun parties for each holiday. My family does not attend St. James Lutheran Church, however, the preschool and church have been extremely welcoming, making my son and family feel like part of the community. I highly recommend St. James preschool and hope you consider bringing your children here too! My son loves making new friends :)
St. James is the best preschool program!! We feel so blessed to be a part of this community and so thankful we found this school! All of the teachers are so caring, supportive, and wonderful with the kids! Their engagement and care for each child is genuine. They also have very open, thorough communication with parents. My boys have grown so much - both socially and academically - during their time here. My oldest loves that he can still go back and join for summer camps (now that he’s school-aged), and my other son is thriving here! We can’t wait for our youngest to go here, too! They offer such flexible scheduling to fit your family’s needs, which was so rare when we were looking at and attending other preschools. You can tell the teachers really care and get to know the kids, and the whole family, and that’s such a gift. Our kids come home and can’t wait to share the adventures from their day, and it’s incredible to watch them flourish. They have such wonderful lessons, crafts and learning tools, and work with each child to help fit their needs and help them learn and grow. This is an established, credible program with people who truly care. We can’t recommend St. James enough!!
Best place ever to send your kids for preschool and daycare. Teachers are loving and have excellent classroom management. The rooms have various supplies to keep kids engaged and interested in learning. They have always been easy and flexible to family needs. Watching our kids grow up at St. James has been so special.
SJLEEC is the absolute best preschool! All three of my kids attended, and we couldn’t have asked for a more caring and positive environment for their early years. The teachers truly get to know each child, supporting their individual needs while encouraging confidence and curiosity. I especially appreciated how flexible and understanding the staff were with our family’s schedule. Most importantly, each of my children felt valued, loved, and kindergarten ready.

It’s a place that focuses on early childhood development - getting kids ready for kindergarten. It’s a place that values Christian teachings, but honors and respects differences. It’s a place where kids can be kids and learn and grow within age-appropriate expectations. It’s a place where parents are heard and valued. It’s a place where there is a partnership among students, teachers, parents, and community support. There really is no other place than St. James. As parents, we recommend it without hesitation.
