What Parents Say
Sports Care, Inc. in Memphis receives mostly positive reviews, with parents praising the staff, activities, and affordability. However, some current parents report enrollment challenges and past concerns about cleanliness and high staff turnover.
My oldest son attended Sportscare from toddler through aftercare until we moved. Great place for kids to socialize and get that energy out. However, I was disappointed when I tried to enroll my youngest son for summer camp this year 2025. I called in January to get a head start. I was told to call about April. Called, again April and was told no openings but we’ll put your info down. I went up there received an application and wrote my info down. Same story we have children that maybe leaving blah, blah we’ll call. Nothing. Finally, called one last time and was told no openings ”oh we just gave away our only TWO openings we had for the 4y/o class.” !!!!!!! Wow
If I Could Give It A Negative 0, I Would! Poor Communication! Not A Good Place To Trust Your Child To Be. They Are Definitely Not Trustworthy! Highly Wouldn't Recommend! Run Not Walk! UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE! Staff And Owner Rated Below 0! I Had To Remove My Child From This Poor Place Of Environment!
I went here when I was 4 years old, which I'm now 18, and I still think about the fun times I had here as if it happened a year ago. Vivid, good memories, but maybe nostalgia can account for a lot of that. I know I was a handful, so I thank all the people working to put up with me. I think about my early childhood every day, and this place plays a big part in it. Looking at pictures, it doesn't look like it has changed at all. As far as I know, its a great daycare.
I was a child that went here in the early 2000s. I am happy to say it looks the same as it always has, though I am sure the staffing has changed and is still as wonderful. I remember a man named Gramps (or Grandpa) who would give every good kid a piece of gum when they left, and he always had the best stuff. I sometimes reminisce and enjoy the memories I had here as a kid.
It’s been a couple of years since I took my child but it always smelled like soiled diapers, the kids had runny noses and it was too cluttered. The teacher turn over seemed to be quite high so I didn’t get the warm and fuzzy from the teachers. We only lasted at this daycare about 3 weeks. Maybe things are better now but then again everyone does not view things the same way.
