I will always feel regret for leaving my child in these peoples’ care. It started out as a loving environment for my 6 month old. As she turned older and could communicate, she expressed she didn’t want to go inside. She would cry in her car seat and ask me to do another circle around the parking lot before taking her inside. She had nightmares all the time. I had to find a cozy spot for her inside the classroom and snuggle her before I left. I was told by my sister that this was just normal and kids hate drop off but are okay right after. This is not normal. She is somewhere else now and no longer has nightmares and runs into her classroom. I will never forgive myself for sending her there for three years. She’s five now. I showed her a picture of one of those teachers to see if she remembered the place and her body clenched and she goes “no!!!!” Don’t send your baby to these people.
I would rate it higher if I could. This isn’t just a daycare this is family! When joining this community you also get teachers that show up and actually help your child advance! I had a 31 week preemie and she started daycare here at 5.5 months and I could’ve never chose a better place to take my girl! She is so attached to her second family that when I go to pick her up she doesn’t want to leave ! That alone speaks for itself! If you’re looking for a tight knit center that is family oriented this is THE PLACE ! I couldn’t say enough great things about Amber (director) & Akyra (asst. Director). I was skeptical at first ( as I never wanted to send her daycare) but I’m so glad that I went with my gut and chose this amazing place !! Thank you all for all you have done and continue to do with my girl !!
I absolutely love this center ! my 1yr has shown so much growth developmentally. i received so many compliments on how smart she is, they have a great curriculum so happy we came her !!
My wife and I send our 3-year old daughter to Southside Christian. We are pleased with the cleanliness of the center and the communication we receive about our daughter's activities and progress.
I have reason to believe this daycare location is *at the best* neglectful and emotionally unhealthy for children, particularly the current 1-2 year old classroom. Please be very wary of leaving your children in the care of this organization.
