I can’t express enough the gratitude that I feel for the teachers and director of KinderHouse Preschool. My son has come a long way and it’s because of the teachers (Ms. Christine and Ms. Maria as well as the other teachers) and the director (Ms. Mavis) love and dedication to their students. My family feels so incredibly blessed with how this preschool has taken such great care of my son. Highly recommend this daycare.
This school and its staff have been an absolute blessing for my son and family. We have been attending this school since 2021 when my son was 2. He just graduated VPK last week, and it brought me to tears knowing our time here was over. Ms. Vanessa was his teacher when he was 2 and she followed his class up to VPK. She has grown so much in her teaching career and as a person and I’m so thankful for her patience with the kids. My son had the tendency to act out some days (as all toddlers do) and she handled it and him beautifully. Ms. Vanessa sends photos of your child every day so you can always see what they’re doing and learning. Which is nice because you don’t have to worry about what your child is doing. Ms. Maria also started as a teacher and has moved up to being one of the best directors there. She was always so excited to see us every single morning. She would hug and love my child as if he was her own. Watching her work so hard to earn her director title was inspiring. I watched her as all the children would run and hug her when she entered a room. She loves this job. Period. Ms. Mavis, one of the other directors is so calm and caring for each of the kids across all the rooms. She reached out and let us know how our son was doing frequently and her demeanor around the kids was always that of a loving mother and friend. She was firm enough with the kids to keep the ship afloat. She has since moved on from Kinderhouse but she visits and helps out frequently and like Ms. Maria, was always so excited to see every child walk through those doors each and every day. It takes a lot to run a daycare and to maintain a clean, happy, loving environment for kids. Any parent who says otherwise about this place is quite literally delusional and probably has a personal issue. If you want your child to be loved, taken care of, and most importantly you want a great education for them, you’ll send them to Kinderhouse Preschool!
We are so thankful someone recommended this schools to us. Our last daycare was terrible. Our son was classified as speech delayed and always hated going to school. Now he is right on track and loves everyone at his school especially Miss Maria!!! I can not say enough nice things about this place. Everyone is so loving and caring especially the Director Miss Mavis and my sons teacher Miss Maria. If you’re looking for a school that truly cares about your child look no further KinderHouse is the place!!
The moment I walked in to this pre school everything about it just felt right. It was clean the Staff and director Laura were so nice and made this transition way easier than I thought it ever would be. I stayed at home with my son up until he turned a year old and now have to go back to the office. He has been going to Kinderhouse for almost a month now and he loves it. I get updates on him everyday, his teacher has even sent me pictures and videos to make me feel better. There is no doubt in my mind that he is getting great care! They treat all of the children there as if they were their own. I never thought I would find a daycare that I truly liked and felt comfortable dropping my son off, but I am so grateful to have been introduced to them! I am so thankful for all of the staff that has made this transition easy for my son but also for me to! I would rate them 100 stars if I could!
Our son has attended Kinderhouse since he was two and is currently enrolled in VPK there. Our daughter has attended since she was one and will be there another two years. The staff and teachers are absolutely wonderful and have been more of an extended family (not just child care providers) for the last three years! They welcome family participation and I regularly visit the school for story times and other family involvement activities. I have seen firsthand the care and dedication the teachers put into their jobs on a daily basis; and I have no doubt that the education my children are receiving is of the highest quality and will serve them well as they move on to Kindergarten. - Katherine Lyon
