* UPDATE* we recently made the decision to pull our son from FELC due to the poor choices the church is making. They forced out the amazing staff/director. The school will not be the same. Very disappointing. Prior to May 2022- This preschool was voted BEST in Sarasota Co because of the amazing director Amanda and her fabulous staff. They are exceptional and provide the absolute best care to all children who attend. They are so kind and passionate about their jobs and it shows daily. My 2 year old son absolutely loves the staff and FELC is a happy place for him. He beams with joy every morning as we pull in for drop off and he is greeted with FELC staff. This is the best feeling for a parent knowing their child is safe with the best teachers and staff. The A+ curriculum is an added bonus. It would be devastating if anything changed.

UPDATE: The church has decided to take over the preschool and get rid of the director who made the school what it is today. The accreditation and curriculum will fall as well. It is because of this that we will have to move our son to a new school. I feel sorry for the school and all members as it made a huge impact in our community with the amazing director and staff. Director, Amanda Grados, and her amazing staff make this preschool a step above the rest. Their attention to detail, love for our children, and passion for learning is like no other. With the current status of FELC under review, I hope that the school is able to continue it's high level of success and curriculum for the betterment of our community. It has been an honor to have my child attend this school and if this school is to change, it would be a disappointment.

UPDATE: The church has decided to take over the preschool and the director who we trusted will no longer be there. I believe the accreditation and curriculum will also be soon gone. My son is being moved to a new school because of this change. Good luck to the staff and members of the school who made a huge impact in our community and my family wishes you the best in your future. Old Review when things used to be right... prior to May 2022. It has been a pleasure having our son attend FELC during his first year of preschool. The learning, love, and growth of character that my son has experienced here has surpassed all of our expectations. We would not be so thrilled and proud of the school we chose for our son without Amanda Grados and her excellent staff. Their top priority is the safety and well-being of our children and we will never forget their hard work.

Our daughter goes to preschool here and we love it! She loves school- the staff is amazing. They have great communication, always get back to fast, friendly, helpful. We get pictures every day to show what our daughter is doing in school. Her teachers are so attentive and the class seems to do such fun activities, from the moment she gets to school to the moment she leaves. This school was such an amazing find and we are so thankful that we found it and that our daughter goes to school here.

What a disappointment, FELC is being closed down and taken over by the church. This program was the best in the area and is now getting taken over by greed. This will turn into another subpar church daycare. It is very sad that a church is displacing a lot of happy children all because of greed. Not very godly in my opinion. The director and staff will be greatly missed as they loved our children as their own.
