"We absolutely loved our experience here! Although we had to leave due to a move before my second son could finish, my oldest spent about 3 years here and I can't say enough good things about this special place. What impressed me most was how the teachers truly took the time to get to know my child individually. My son had some anxiety around going to school, and the staff was incredibly patient and supportive in helping him work through those feelings. They created such a nurturing environment where he felt safe to learn, play, and just be himself. Over our time there, I watched my son's confidence grow tremendously. He went from being anxious about school to genuinely excited about learning and playing with his classmates. The teachers have a wonderful way of making each child feel valued and supported. Beyond the excellent care for the children, we also felt welcomed into a real community. The warmth and genuine care from everyone made such a difference for our whole family. I would highly recommend this preschool to any parent, especially those with children who might need a little extra support building confidence. We're so grateful for the positive foundation they gave our son!"

We’ve had the most positive experience at Sonshine Preschool. The love and care each and every teacher, teaching aid and administrator has shown both my kiddos is above and beyond. My oldest daughter started kindergarten down the street from where we live. It would have been more convenient for us to send our youngest to the same school as her sister. However, we chose to commute 20 minutes to continue our youngest daughter’s education at Sonshine because the care, excellent communication, and incredible flexibility are truly unmatched. Half of the staff has seniority over 10 years, some over 20 years. That speaks volumes. Some daycares are a simply a necessity but Sonshine feels more like a family and we are blessed to be a part of it!

Sonshine Preschool has been such a blessing to our family. The staff is amazing and truly has made our children feel incredibly loved, heard, safe and confident which is HUGE for this age! I genuinely believe Sonshine Preschool has made our children thrive! We have made so many connections with other Sonshine families and knowing that they will continue to grow together truly makes my heart so full. We aren’t originally from Tucson so we had no family or close friends to rely on but because of Sonshine, we now have a full support system full of friends that we can trust and we all are willing to help each other out! Sonshine Preschool has 100% attributed to our family’s relocation success and I can’t thank them enough. They’ve been flexible with any changes needed and willing to support us in any way they could. They genuinely care and gotten to know our family. To us, they will ALWAYS have a special place in our hearts and I am forever grateful for all they do and have done for our family.

Upon seeing a newly posted review, I want to inform parents who are considering sending their children to Sonshine that I never experienced any of the issues that parent is posting about. Truthfully, in any level of education for child, you get what you put in. The staff has always gone above and beyond to help any family and any child. Truthfully, Mrs. Castillo was the reason we decided to initially send our children to Sonshine and to this day is still one of my boys' favorite staff members. This is a caring environment, with incredibly willing and supportive staff. My husband and I could not be happier with choosing Sonshine Preschool for our boys. The staff are beyond wonderful, the facility is always clean and well organized, and the curriculum is perfect for each age group. We are regularly updated about our son's progress and any other pertinent information. The way Sonshine has addressed covid-19 has been exceptional and eased any concerns. Our boys love going there and always have fun stories to share with us. We could not give a higher recommendation for a preschool for your children!

We’ve had three kids at this preschool, and you won’t find anything better in Tucson. The blend of faith-based values and Montessori-esque learning has created such a positive, nurturing environment that our children look forward to every day. The teachers are fantastic - fun and patient, and truly invested in the kids. Our children love the play-based approach, and we love the consistency and structure that help them feel secure. It’s a warm and welcoming place, and we couldn’t ask for a better start to our kids’ education. I will certainly shed a few tears when our days at Sonshine wrap up.
