Top tier! This is an extremely welcoming environment! My kids have been attending this school since before they could walk. I can honestly say I'm so glad we chose Jonesboro Elite Learning Academy! I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed!

Jonesboro Elite Learning Academy has truly been a blessing to my family. My children have been coming here for three years, and the peace of mind this place has given me is priceless. From the very first day, the staff welcomed us with open arms and have continued to love, support, and care for my kids as if they were their own. This isn’t just a daycare — it feels like family. The teachers are patient, kind, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. My kids come home smiling, excited, and full of stories, and that means everything to me as a parent. I am forever grateful for the love, safety, and joy this academy provides. Five stars isn’t enough — this place is truly special.

My son has gone here since he was a baby and he loves it. The staff is caring, they keep the parents well informed and are always making improvements. Highly recommend!

This is my honest review. My child came to the center at 2yrs old. -He didn't talk for most of his first year there. Ms. Richardson thought he was developmentally off, so I showed her a video of him saying sight words at home. -Fast forward, his 3rd birthday was aproaching, Richardson told me he could not proceed in daycare if he was not potty trained by his birthday because the employees could not touch the kids or assist with wiping their butts per rules/regulations/law, so I found him another daycare. TWO WEEKS later Ms Angela clld asking why my toddler was missing and told me I misheard and misunderstood. They then said they told me he only had 5 weeks to transition to the 3yr old class, yet when he returned to Jela, I was called up there to clean him up after he had a bowel movement a couple times. -Fast Forward to 4yrs old, the whole year went by with no issue. In the spring my toddler said he was tired of daycare after spending 10 hrs a day 5 days a week there, and would act out by not participating in class. Richardson used this to paint my child as having behavioral problems, claiming my child was acting out daily and needed an IEP. Richardson threatened to call CPS if I didn't get my child checked out/ diagnosed at the center they referred or get a pediatrician behavior assessment. (It's interesting that she is denying the CPS threat in her response and can't stand on it publicly). I met with them (once) during a parent teacher meeting and they alleged my child was hitting himself (true- when scolded), biting (a lie) and not listening to the teachers EVERY day (a lie) or using his inside voice to speak. Cofield stressed verbally that my toddler "had a very bad day today" every day, yet I consistently noticed my toddler sitting quietly to himself while the rest of the class was running around playing wildly, yelling and screaming. They were trying to paint a picture of behavioral problems through lies when they have known him since 2 yrs old. And to threaten me with CPS for him suddenly needing an IEP (per their opinion) showed that she did not care about my child's well being. My child's pediatrician said their practice doesn't even threaten CPS on parents and children come to them with real issues needing therapeutic intervention, and the claims against my child, even if true, were normal child development issues. Richardson is not experienced in child development. Based on her reactions to my childs growing stages, she was alarmed and mishandled all of his developmental landmarks from 2-4 yrs old. Instead of understanding a child's stages of development, she makes assumptions or creates narratives that are more comfortable for her, not the child. This daycare has no structure. They call you to leave work to pick up your child for trivial things. Children pick up bad habits from the staff and other children and Richardson complains about the child acting up instead of course correcting the bad behavior within the center. My toddler also started calling himself "bad" and he definately did not get that from me or his dad. Richardson also talks reckless to the kids. I caught her telling one of them to save their attitude for their mother. I placed my toddler in a different center for pre-k because, in addition to getting sad faces for behavior and having "a very bad day" every day, Cofield and Richardson gave him two write ups a few days apart for something trivial (after the third write up he would have been expelled- and this was all during the first 4 wks of school in August. He was in a new facility Sept 1). The first week at the new center, the staff beamed that my child was "so smart and sweet". All of the behavioral issues that he was allegedly having at JELA EVERY day disappeared all of a sudden. ALL OF THEM! The new staff knows how to redirect a child talking in third person and the other traits deemed problematic at JELA. No IEP has been suggested or needed, and no one has threatened to call CPS to bully and sway an outcome in their favor.

There are so many great things to say about this center. My children started at this facility in February, and they absolutely love it. The staff are very kind to the children and do a great job serving the children. They are very interactive with them & invested in their futures. My 1 year old loves Ms. Thompson. She is very patient & kind with him and his classmates and does an EXCELLENT job with potty training. Prior to Ms. Thompson, he was in Ms. Owens class, and she is very attentive to the smaller children and always showing kindness & love to each of the children. Ms. Charmaine does a great job helping my 3 year old with her alphabet, numbers, and name. She looks forward to going to “school” each morning. Ms. Treasure the summer camp teacher is very intentional with the older group. She makes sure they practice tying their shoes daily, and every time we pull into the center, my 6 year old is so happy to see her. Finally, Ms. Richardson and Ms. Angela, the faces of JELA… they are PHENONEMAL. Ms. Angela is a hard working woman. She is always being so creative for the children when they have school programs. She goes above & beyond for these children. When she’s not there, my daughter always says “where is Ms. Angela?” and she pouts because she can’t get her hug lol. Ms. Richardson is always on point with any and everything and she truly enjoys seeing the children have a fun time while at JELA. In any situation, she is fair, and keeps it PROFESSIONAL. I respect this business so much and truly appreciate them for being so great to my three children. I don’t know where we would be had we not found them. If you’re looking for childcare, before & after care, or a great summer camp, JELA is the place to consider! You will not regret it.
