We love Snow Lion and the way it builds a community around our child. From the first day, we felt the warmth and attentiveness they share with every child and parent. Ms. Connie really understands child development and helps us stay informed. We chose this program because our friends had two kids there and they work in education so their standards are high.

Snow Lion Preschool is an absolutely magical place that has been transformative for our daughter. From the moment you step through the door, it's clear that this isn’t just a preschool – it’s a nurturing, inspiring, and safe haven for children to thrive. The staff is warm, compassionate, and endlessly patient, creating an environment where kids feel secure and deeply valued. Our daughter has blossomed in ways we could never have imagined since joining Snow Lion. She has found her voice, growing into a confident, expressive individual who isn’t afraid to share her thoughts or ideas. The nurturing environment has also helped her develop a strong sense of character and integrity. She’s learning the importance of kindness, responsibility, and determination, and she carries those lessons with her into every interaction. The creative and fun-filled curriculum has truly sparked her inner drive to learn and explore. From imaginative play and storytelling to nature-based adventures and team-building activities, every day feels like a new opportunity to grow and discover. It’s heartwarming to see how much joy she takes in her learning and how her confidence has grown as a result. Snow Lion Preschool is a gem, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found a place that feels like a second home for our daughter. If you’re looking for a preschool that fosters joy, curiosity, and a strong moral foundation, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it enough!

We went through several preschools before finding the best one, Snow Lion! We love all the teachers, and we have seen how much the teachers love all the children for their own unique little personalities. We have a "spirited" kid who was not always loved by teachers, but the kindness and intellectual stimulation at this school really turned the dynamic around. We also went through the transition from the original director to the new director, and it was all seamless and beautifully done. We will always be indebted to this lovely little school.

Snow Lion is a truly unique and magical preschool! While it is technically a "contemplative" preschool, there are elements of Waldorf and general progressive educational methods that combine to form the most beautiful combination of methodologies where I and my child feel truly welcome and appreciated. We sent our older child to a pure Waldorf preschool (before finding Snow Lion) and while I loved so much there, I also felt shamed for letting him watch literally any TV ever (hardcore Waldorfers don't even listen to recorded music!). In contrast, Snow Lion is truly safe space. There is true compassion and understanding of the challenges of parenting in the modern world, and parent meetings to help us navigate it all. The parent meetings and events are unparalleled - truly educational and bonding. The space itself is a place even adults find calm and balance in; you have to tour it to see how perfect and beautiful it is! My three year old cried when he had to leave school on his first day there (and never once has cried at the gate when it was time to leave ME! lol). Not once since he started has he not been thoroughly excited to go to school in the morning. We were parents at one other preschool and toured 3 others, and Snow Lion stood out as the shining star. We only even got a spot because someone else moved cities last minute (everyone in the younger class loves it so much that they stay for the older class)! Highly recommended!

Snow Lion is a magical place for my daughter. We started sending her here early in the pandemic and she will graduate this spring. The teachers care deeply about each individual child and helping them discover their own sense of self. We will deeply miss Snow Lion next year when she goes to Kinder. The school itself is a really unique setup. They have tremendous outdoor space that really encourages imagination and creativity - we love how much time she spends outside. The school also encourages community. There are several family and parent events throughout the year so you can meet other families. We help each other out by creating meal trains or planning play dates as needed. Highly recommend for any family looking for care for their littles rooted in play.
