Smr Kids Care & Learning Center

When I had to go back to work I was so nervous to take my son anywhere. He was only 2 and all of my other kids were older and didn’t need care. I had been to several different daycares with my other kids and after several incidents at other places I stopped working because I was tired of paying so much for very basic care. I was tired of picking up my kids dirty, hungry, and dealing with staff who clearly didn’t pay attention to my children. So when I had to go back I was so scared and looked and looked for a place I felt like I could afford but that would care for my son and love him. Ratings when it came to daycare was extremely important to me. I came across SMR and went and toured. I was very impressed with the set up, I was impressed the kids had their own little cubbies, and mats to take naps on. Miss Val listened to my concerns and worries, and re-assured me that I could check in any time, and come to her with any concerns. That was 4 years ago and I can’t say enough about SMR, Miss Val, Miss Lenny, and all their staff! They genuinely love their kids. They always have a theme for the month, take pictures of my son when he’s doing projects, and helped me feel that even though I’ve had to work that he’s loved and cared for! My son is now 6 and has made many friends, (I have watched all these kids grow up with him) he loves to go after school and their summer program. We recommend everyone that we can to their facility. They are so reasonable in price and I have never felt like I have to work just to pay daycare. We love them so much, they have helped me raise my son, and I am forever grateful for them and the safe place they have created. He has learned so much and continues to learn even though he only goes after school. Thank you so much for everything, we couldn’t do it without you.

All of the teachers are so loving and kind. My daughter is a handful, but they work so well with her behaviors. She loves going! The owners are so hands on with the kids and give them the best care. Best daycare in Idaho Falls!

Best child care in town! Clean organized and well taken care of facility. The owners and their staff are absolutely amazing. You can tell the kids are happy and the staff is so loving and caring towards the kiddos.

My two children went to SMR for about a year and a half, and it was incredible! Miss Val and Miss Ashlee in the toddler room are so sweet, so incredibly loving. They went above and beyond for holidays and birthdays, and Miss Val's effort to coordinate crafts and learning through art is incredible. My oldest was only in Miss Lynnie's class for a short time, but it was a continuation of the joy in the toddler room. Miss Lynnie is such a wonderful teacher, and is so sweet with both my kids. We moved to another state, and not a day goes by without my kids still talking about the place (over 2 months later!). I cannot recommend them enough. So incredible.

10/10 I tell everyone I know about SMR kids. They love your children so much and are consistent. Miss Val and Miss Lynnie are the owners of the daycare and the main teachers in the baby/toddler and preschool rooms. They go above and beyond for everything and the facility itself is incredibly engaging. Words can’t really describe the magic of this place and the people in it.
