When I toured the daycare they gave me great information, they showed me a schedule of what they’d be doing, which also had scheduled bathroom breaks. They really sold the lies. A little while after, I decided to enroll my child so I set up an appointment to come fill out the paperwork. I was asked to make a payment before even looking at the paperwork, when I told her I wanted to read through the enrollment packet before paying and signing my child up she said they normally required payment upfront. That should have been the first red flag. When my child started here, they were telling me and my child’s dad two different things. My child is potty trained but has a speech delay so he has to be asked or will go to the restroom without asking anyone. I made this very clear during the tour and they assured me that it would be fine because they had these scheduled bathroom breaks either way. My son has not had an accident in months and apparently has accidents all day for a week in this center. They then told dad that they never told me they had scheduled bathroom breaks and that I was lying. They said “well if he’s potty trained then we shouldn’t have to send him to the bathroom”. They also told dad that he was eating his meals then told me that my child does not know how to hold a spoon when my child has been eating on his own for well over a year. When I mentioned that my I was pulling my child from this daycare they immediately changed, he had no accidents all day and they had no complaints. These people only care about money and not the kids. If you don’t care about kids then don’t work in a daycare. The miscommunication and lies are terrible. Don’t enroll your child here.

So I called as a concerned citizen and owner of condominiums adjacent to establishment to ask about the garbage I’ve noticed there for many months and is the only garbage standing out the only one in entire neighborhood, an eye soarer and it’s been the for many months now and to my surprise (being very polite just asking) the lady in the other side of the phone cut me off and asked if I was willing to pay for it! As if I distributed to any of their garbage out there. Anyways called the city and they’re taking action. Let’s see who’s going to pay…

My child went here years ago and it was the worst daycare experience we've ever had. The staff complained about my daughter wetting herself during nap time. I inquired about whether they were having her potty before nap time and they responded with " we don't ask them if they have to go, they should go on their own." They wanted my daughter to use pull-ups but I refused because she was potty trained and I wasn't going to mess up the progress we had made. I ended up pulling her from SmartyPants and it was the best decision we had made because she thrived at her new daycare. No potty training issues at the new daycare and she had a set schedule of events for the day. The SmartyPants staff was convinced that my daughter never talked but when I would go pick her up and we reached the car, she would start talking...I'm convinced she just didn't want to talk to them. Their unreliable in the mornings when it comes to opening. I was there at 7am and the facility was still closed. I had to drop my daughter back home to her dad so I could make it to work and I was late because of it. If you're looking for a glorified daycare then bring your child to SmartyPants. If you want the best experience and learning environment, then go somewhere else.

I had my daughter here only for 3 days, and normally my daughter adjusts pretty quickly to the environment she is in but she was adamant about not going back to this daycare. She said the kids are “mad” and was angry about going. I hate putting bad reviews but the tour was great until she actually started, they also were very short on the phone calls and telling me about her day I just like to know what’s going on and my daughter deserves the best care and this just wasn’t the best fit for my child.

The staff and teachers are great and friendly. My daughter loves her teacher dearly, and is excited to go to daycare everyday. At the end of the week, she is excited to show me what they have learned and created in class. The bond she has built with them has been very family oriented, great daycare and community overall.
