Discovery Prep Academy INC

My daughter has been going to Discovery prep since Aug 2021 and she’s loved it every single day. Her vocabulary skills have improved drastically compared to when she first started. She is also much more social and has become much more independent. The VPK program at the school provided Amelia with all the tools she will need for kindergarten. Ms Bobbie would make sure to discuss with the parents every quarter there kids test scores and how they’ve been improving. It was incredible seeing the change between the year during each review. Not only are the teachers awesome, but so is the staff. They truly care about the children. My daughter loves attention and I can tell she gets a lot of it at this school as do all the other kids. The activities planned during the summer are creative and fun. My kids are always excited to show me all the new projects they’ve made. Some of the different projects/activities are: Water Day (my kids favorite), Craft day, Science Project Day, Pizza Day, Ballon Experiment Day and many more! As soon as my son turned 1 and started walking I immediately enrolled him into the daycare. He has also shown a lot of improvement in his motor skills and speech. Ms. Marcela is a wonderful teacher to my son Adrian and he loves her. I am very sad that my daughter will be starting kindergarten at a new school, but I know she will do well with all the knowledge she’s gained from here. It also won’t be easy keeping up with all her needs like they did, but that just goes to show how truly wonderful this school is.

I have so many good things to say about Discovery Prep Academy. I highly recommend for any child to attend here. My daughter just completed her first year here as a 3 year old. I have always felt that my daughter is safe and welcomed here. She talks nonstop about all of her friends and Ms.Jay. They’re always doing fun/learning activities. She loves going to school and that’s amazing to hear. I already enrolled her in the VPK program and we couldn’t be happier. I am excited to see even more progress in my daughters social skills as she continues to grow and learn here. One of the best things about this school is Ms.Bobbie!! She has been very attentive and helpful with my daughter. Since day one she has been there for her and you can just tell that she loves and cares for every child that attends. She made me feel comfortable as a parent. She always kept me up to date with how my daughter was behaving and what she was doing throughout the day. I really have to say thank you to Ms.Bobbie. You will forever be Angelys’s (and mom’s) favorite teacher.

This is the best daycare/preschool on the face of this earth. Every single employee is so passionate about caring for children. You can tell that this daycare is about the children and not about making money. The teachers really take the time and invest in your child. The owner is such a sweetheart and will always take the time out of her day to speak with you. Its more than obvious that she takes into strong consideration the quality of people she is employing in her establishment. She has done an absolutely wonderful job in doing so and there isn't a single person on their team that I wouldn't speak extremely high of. There is no where else I would ever recommend for daycare or preschool. This place and the staff are truly a blessing to Orlando. I could not have asked for anything more from them. They go above and beyond in every way possible. They even go so far as to call you if your child doesn't show up one day, just to make sure everything is okay. They are off the charts when it comes to a daycare. I have never met such a patient staff that is willing to work through any issues your child might be going through.

My son has been enrolled in this school for eight months. He's 2 and is reading some words out of his bedtime story books. Amazing! Not to mention he's counting to 10. Exceptional learning education program for children. The staff is great. The location is perfect. We couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend this school to any family. Thanks Discovery Prep!

This is the worst nursery in Dr. Phillips area. They don’t have any system in place. The kids not getting good level of education to make them ready for KG. In addition to that they let big kids beat other younger kids with no supervision what so ever - teachers are completely careless. Be aware that they don’t have any cameras where you can check on your kids like other nurseries in the area. I know their prices are so low compared to other nurseries but the additional bucks really worth it so that you will be assured that your kids are in good hands.
