Our 10 year old son has an aptitude for Robotics and also interested in learning Chess. We as working parents wanted a program for our son to explore his interests in various enrichment activities and also keep up with the academics to avoid the summer slide with option for extended care for any unforeseen delays due to traffic. We were blessed to find what we were looking for in the STEM based summer camp program at SMARTS Club right in our neighborhood. The combination of academic and STEM based activities along with the high quality of their programs and caliber of their teachers is unbelievable. Within weeks our son mastered EV3 Robotics and built up enough confidence to participate in rated Chess tournaments. In addition to what he wanted to achieve with his choice of activities he achieved an academic level beyond our belief including math and science. We received best of both worlds, a happy and engaged child with academic success we want for him as parents. I would recommend this program without hesitation to any parent looking for quality programs for their kids.
Smarts Club has been one of the best experiences for our son. His kindergarten curriculum lagged behind his academic progress, and smarts club after-care was a perfect supplement to keep him progressing. He likes the tutors, enjoys the other kids, and even has a good time learning chess once a week. Dr. Meenakshi did a fantastic job helping him prepare for his recent assessments testing. He passed with flying colors and was also subsequently selected for FISD gifted and talented program. He also scored in the 99th percentile in Math; considering that his mother and I are not particularly gifted in that area, his skill certainly isn't hereditary. I highly recommend their after care and tutoring programs.
Amazing program! Dr. Meenakshi helped me gain 100 points on my SAT Reading. Dr. Meenakshi provided many unique and effective strategies for all types of problems to help me get the score I needed. I highly recommend Smarts Club for every student!
Attentive, supportive and caring, Ms. Meenaksi has taken her hands on experience as an educator and has built a wonderful environment for kids to learn. Both my kids are more confident and look forward to their sessions.
