Smart Start Child Care

Picked up my little cousin from daycare on today Wednesday October 29th 2024, and he was in nothing but a diaper. He did not even have on sox. The problem is he was changed at 9am so the childcare worker says, and he was not picked up until 4:30! Which means he sat at this daycare for over six hours with NO CLOTHES ON!!!! If anyone has been inside this facility, you would know like I know that it stays at least 68* or below. This is to keep away germs! Needless to say my cousin had a running nose, feet was frozen, hands cold and he was climbing up his mom in fear of being put back down!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE IN ANYBODIES WORLD, yet alone what is supposed to be a professional setting. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!! I have seen this daycare call my auntie about a five dollar late payment, or to come pick my cousin up because his nose is running and they do t want other kids getting sick. Saying stuff like my cousin can not come to daycare until a 5$ balance is paid, but no one thought to call at 9:30a.m that a baby has no clothes to change into.??? There’s no way!!! This place is disgraceful!!!

I can't speak for the rest of the locations. But the staff here is amazing, My son has been attending this location since he was 6 weeks old and we couldn't be happier with them. Mr.s Elizabeth (The Supervisor) is an amazing person and the entire staff is friendly and genuinely care about the children.

Not only was it disgusting and every one stayed sick from the lack of basic hygiene from children and staff. . after my wreck I was accused of being on drugs and was fired I personally paid and took a test immediately proving the declamation of my character to be false but it didn't matter. Regulations were never met and what they promote to have such a high tuition does not occur EVER. sadly I couldn't even retrieve my personal items I purchased that valued over 100 dollars. Wouldn't recommend the facility to anyone

I would not send my children there again if it was the only place open. My children were injured with out report, unattainted to, and were fed inatiquit food and diapers were not changed often enough. Not only all of this, but the facility itself, though seemingly clean, is not sanitized regularly making my children extremely sick, extremely often. They say they are “teachers” but they are really a minimum wage paid uneducated adult with no training. The owners, though the wife is kind, the husband is completely crooked making remarks towards me in innapritiate ways, and sending payment statements asking for more than I owe, Ever since switching day cares, my children have been less injured, less sick, happier and healthier kids, and I will NEVER advise any one to take their child to this place again.

Smart start is an awesome place! The kiddos are always ready to go and the teachers and staff are amazing. I absolutely love the attention the kids get and the knowledge they come away with. I am very impressed with this place! :)
