This daycare is absolutely wonderful. They take care of children from as young as 10 weeks old up to 3–4 years old. The teachers are very caring, attentive, and sweet with the children, and there are many activities for the kids. The school is a bit small, but it is always very clean and smells fresh. The number of children in each class is not large, which makes everything even better. I brought my child here starting at 13 months old, and my baby is always very happy every time we come home. Thank you so much!
My son has been at Ships Ahoy for about five months now. He is not a fan of people or stranger but loves everyone at Ships Ahoy(especially his teachers)! My son is the first of my three kids to go to daycare and I was really nervous/skeptical of daycares. But the staff at ships ahoy are wonderful, they have always been professional, personable and treats everyone like family.
During our time at ships ahoy albeit short we were treated with kindness and love by their staff. We had a sudden change in our schedule that made it so that paying 160.00 a week for no more than a day or two wasn’t justified. I understand that contractually speaking I’m obligated to pay for two weeks even if we’re not there for two weeks but right in this moment while I’m making sure my car note and my car insurance is paid so that I can transport my infant to and from specialists I am unable to pay them the two week fee. That being said, back to back phone calls while I’m on the phone with my child’s doctors are not okay. I’ve been threatened with collections, so instead of pressing the issue and violating Louisiana statue RS 14:285 just send my due balance to collections and I’ll deal with it when my eight month old isn’t between physical therapy twice a week and establishing a neurologist in Baton Rouge while I work full time and study to obtain my degree in this broken town. Have a blessed day!
It's a great Children's Academy. The staff & teachers are very nice and respectful. My daughter loved that center & I have the utmost respect for the employees for cleanliness & how they work with the kids there.
