A charming, small but upscale airport with all the features of any major airport.
We had some issues getting our bags back and the airport was about to close for the night and Justin W. was absolutely amazing and helped us submit a claim for our missing baggage. He stay after hours to help us get it all done which was way after his shift ended. We ended up getting everything the next day. He was such a great help and so friendly. We were so appreciative of him staying even though his shift ended. Great experience!
United Airlines agents are the best at the Lake Charles airport. Courtney went out of her way to help make sure I made it on my delayed flight and reconnected me on another flight the minute I found out my flight was delayed. She retrieved my check bag and kept her composure even though I was a nervous wreck. She never stopped smiling
Unique airport serving the Lake Charles area. It’s small but pleasant to fly out of. Well kept and very clean. Keep in mind there are only vending machines in the departure lounge area, so you may want to plan ahead. Staff are friendly with patient TSA agents.
