Shining Stars Learning Center LLC

This is a really bad place. Kids are constantly screamed at. Kids constantly hurting each other with no prevention. The place is riddled with illness. They are understaffed and the employees are overworked and undertrained. You don't need any qualifications to work here including child safety and cpr training. I dont recommend bringing your kids here if you don't want them to come home with bruises or sick everyday. I don't blame all of the employees I know there was some good ones. I blame the management who won't hire the help they need and expecting everyone to manage. The place should be shut down. Also the recycle the milk. (The milk the kids don't finish gets dumped back in the jug and reused)

What's "Shinning" about this place? NOTHING!! It is truly ONLY about money not ANY kind of care for your child. By the way, watch your bill I found at least $1,000.00 in discretion within a year of them trying to take from me shocking it was not in my favor. While talking to another parent they told me they found a staple in their child's diaper, which means that that the child ingested staples. The employees are overworked and overwhelmed with zero support from management. This daycare isn't even good enough to watch my dogs. I regret putting my children in there, my dogs don't even deserve this kind of treatment. I feel they don't even deserve the star they have!!!

Like another reviewer has expressed, I had negative experiences with the owner, who didn’t seem to be caring, understanding, and possess other traits I would want of the owner of my child’s daycare. In reality, she seemed stressed out and lacking strong interpersonal skills. As for the workers, I heard some complain about the parents of the children they were watching. They also weren’t patient with the children and yelled often. They weren’t horrible, but weren’t passionate about children. Overall, going to Shining Stars Learning Center made me question whether to even put my children in childcare.

We have been with shining stars for over a year now. Haven't had any issues with the care, they helped my oldest adjust to being in daycare when she previously was watched at home. They are flexible with my schedule. My girls love going and always say they had a good day.

Been there 5 months and my kids have been nonstop sick ever since, I’m paying for everyday to have to stay home with them 60% of the time. They are understaffed and you can clearly tell by the people they choose to staff, that they don’t have a lot of options. I chose this place as a last resort since all the other daycares were full. There’s a reason that this place always has availability. Staff is nice, they do have some good individuals, but I come home to my daughter talking about how she doesn’t wanna go because the teacher is mean, screaming in the morning cause she doesn’t wanna see the teacher. You walk in the building to an illegal student to teacher ratio, they allow sick kids and don’t even ask questions. They forget to charge you like they are supposed to each week, and then add charges at the end of the month , designed to put you in debt. Then if you don’t pay attention they add additional charges for legit no reason other then to see if you notice or not. It’s just so unprofessional. It should be cheaper for the amount of unprofessionalism and understaff. I know it’s hard times with covid but it’s children, it’s important to have top quality when dealing with youth. I bit my Tongue long enough, and I try being super nice and understanding, but that is way to many things.
