What Parents Say
Shepherd's Way Day School receives predominantly positive reviews praising caring teachers, safe environment with camera monitoring, and good curriculum. However, one parent reported serious safety concerns including frequent injuries, bites, tooth damage, and behavioral changes during a 2.5-month enrollment.
All of my children have attended Shepherd's way! They have been amazing with care , teaching and loving my babies over the years. I wouldn’t trust anywhere else to love my babies!
We have loved every single teacher we have met here! My daughter has been going here since she was about two or a little before and now she is 4. They have all been amazing and there's no better feeling than dropping your kid off and knowing that they are in good hands. You 100% will not go wrong with sending your children here!
I like this facility because they have cameras in place so you can watch your child from work, school or home by using your computer or phone. The staff is all friendly. Sometimes you may think you pick up vibes just because as humans we tend to not be very trusting but they are all really nice staff members. You just have to take the time to get used to everyone. They do the best they can. I applaud and appreciate anyone that'll work in this field. It's a lot of work!
My toddler went to shepherds way for 2.5 months only and we removed him because we were scared for his safety. He was in the 2 year old class. During his time there he came home with weekly marks on him. Bites from another toddler 1-2 times a week sometimes more. Pinch marks. Scratches. He also injured both his front teeth and they don’t know how. A teacher said she remembered him falling down and crying but didn’t think it was to bad… his tooth was shoved into his gums and pushed back and they turned gray. Diaper rash from not being changed properly and his behavior dramatically changed in a bad way. One of the teachers told us she was seriously concerned for her safety bc of our 2 year old. She claims he spit on her and he doesn’t know how to spit. She claims he smacked her in the face. We have never had him treat us or any other caregiver mean. This behavior was only happening in their facility. Our 2 year old is very well behaved just not when he’s treated poorly and we feel as if he’s treating them how he is being treated. We had a fear for our child’s safety so we removed him.
This daycare is great! We've had our children enrolled for about 1 1/2 years. The teachers are wonderful and caring. They have a great curriculum that includes lots of learning activities, as well as trips next door to CrossRoads ALF. I love knowing that my children are well taken care of and learning while I am working.
