Every single time I go to this super duper amazing people filled church I get hugs and nothing is better than genuine hugs when it comes to these amazing people who give so much to the community. Anyone who believes in the Bible and the Book of James Chapter 2 would understand that so many of these people follow those teachings and I love the book of James in the Bible and its teachings to be kind!Most of all I want to thank Diane for her continual love and kindness that she has shown me and so many others, I pray with all my heart that God blesses you now and everyday till the day you see the smile of Jesus and that you are given strong health, love and respect from others and that your days be many of happiness and joy. Incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere. I’ve been to many different Lutheran churches, and this is definitely one of the great ones. They offer various service times. The sermons are well written and impactful. They have a plethora of weekly opportunities to connect with other church members, many of which involve free meals. They have a quality YouTube channel for when you can’t make it to service in person. They have a knack for making you feel like family, in a way. Highly recommended for you to stop by and check them out!
Went there with many questions as it would be the first school experience for my son, so wasn’t sure if he would fit in and adjust as it would be his first exposure outside home. Very well taken care by everyone, especially Mrs Christy(and Ms Thomas later)- they are very good at art of handling kids! Working with Ms Thomas for under a week helped with kid’s potty training(we tried couple of months before that). My son started enjoying the place and is now wanting to go to school. It’s been 4+ months and we definitely see improvement in him!
HAD A BLAST!! It was very pleasent and welcoming to us!!! The maze was fun and tricky!! Plenty of pumpkins to choose from with fun activities 😀 I think we have found our new church as well!! Definitely a need to do at this time aroud! AND AND When you buy a pumpkin the money goes to charity of your choice!! What a great way to give back!!
I absolutely love this school and church. My twins attended school here from VPK to 1st grade. They have learned so much not just in school lessons, but also in faith. I wanted a Christian foundation and I feel that my children received that at SOTW. They love the word of God in such a way that is not forced. Their reading skill is in the second grade range because they were encouraged to read. I wish they have 2nd grade because this school is very dear to our heart. Everyone is kind, understanding, and very respectful of everyones culture. I am so grateful to all the teachers and staff at SOTW. It’s definitely an amazing school especially if your child needs a smaller learning environment. My son definitely needed a lot more one on one and the teachers made sure to do that.
