Sea Island Preschool LLC

We recently took a tour of Big Blue Marble to see if it would be a good fit for our baby girl who is due in May of next year. From the time we met the director, Kashauna, I knew this place would be great. Kashauna greeted us with great energy, friendliness, and with open arms. I had a longgggg list of questions and she was happy to answer them all, some she answered before I could even ask them. After we went over all our questions and general information about the academy, we got to see the infant room. The first thing I noticed in the room was how happy every baby in the room was. They seemed to genuinely enjoy being there and seemed to have a bond with the caretakers that showed me how much they are loved and cared for. We were shown every little detail you could think of or come up with, and we just can’t express how thankful we are that we found this place. We feel like our baby girl is going to be in the best hands, and we were terrified of the thought of other people besides us caring for her, especially at such a young age. We are so grateful and thankful that we found Big Blue Marble and are so excited for our little girl to be in such caring hands while we are at work. Thank you so much again, Shauna. I feel like I have a friend in you already and am so excited for our baby girl to be in your hands!!!

We’ve been at BBM a little over a month and feel incredibly lucky to be apart of this amazing school family! The updates throughout the day are wonderful. I love getting photos of my child’s day. The entire staff is so sweet. They reached out one day because my child was struggling and wasn’t himself and they let me know they’d keep extra eyes on him. As a mom, I cannot be more thankful for BBM. Thank you Kashauna, Janette, Alex, Alicia, Miesha, and Ali!

Our daughter has been going to BBMA for 6 months now and we are so happy with the care she receives here. She started at 5.5 months of age and I, like most moms, was nervous and apprehensive, but the teachers were so helpful and attentive and kept us updated on everything every day. 6 months later I can say the teachers in all classrooms truly love the children and do a great job meeting their emotional needs. We’ve seen our daughter grow SO much in her skills since being there. We’ve also had a few normal incidents; babies drinking eachothers bottles, bumps on the head while learning to crawl/sit/walk, and even some chomps from other teething babies, and the staff are very good about keeping us informed right away and documenting the incidents. Would definitely recommend!

Our son has been at Big Blue Marble for over 2 years now and we couldn't be happier. I never walk through the door without receiving a warm greeting. My son is treated with love and respect and every staff member knows him by name. They comfort him when needed and cheer him on as he reaches milestones. The staff are like a family, and if they ever have a bad day, you wouldn't know it! The facility is clean as a whistle, cheery, and bright. The kids are happy. The curriculum is enriching. Kashauna, the clinic director, is at the center of Big Blue's excellence and I am thankful for her every day!

Big Blue Marble Academy on Folly Road has been a wonderful place for our kids to go. The teachers are thoughtful and caring and keep us updated on what the kids are doing daily. We are continually surprised by the things they come home learning. The teachers really make each child feel special. We have felt comfortable with our kids being there since day 1. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to send your children!
