We put my young brother in because he needed to socialize with other children and develop within the care of properly trained professionals. While on one hand, Miss Chelsea was amazing and extremely understanding, the Administration staff repeatedly had us come pick up my brother because he likes to open doors. For three days, they repeatedly kicked him out because they are "understaffed and unequipped to handle a child who opens doors." While there, we overhead them talking about how another child kept removing his shoes and how he was a problem. This place is not a place for your child to develop, it is only a place where your child can stay if they prove to be an obedient drone and not act like a child does.
We had a deeply concerning experience at Sandite Child Development Center. There were multiple incidents of negligence, including a time when our infant son was forgotten and left unattended in a dark room. The staff consistently mishandled behavioral issues with our daughter, and treated her unfairly. They would often send our children home for dubious reasons, and the communication was poor and unprofessional. The director even made an inappropriate and hurtful comparison of our daughter to Jeffrey Dahmer. Our concerns were dismissed, and the atmosphere became increasingly hostile. We ultimately removed our children from the facility due to these ongoing issues. I cannot recommend this daycare to other parents.
This place is outstanding! Highly recommend! The Director Janna is great and all the teachers are wonderful. Mrs.Katie will forever hold a special place in our hearts because she took such incredible care of our little guy. Very professional and clean. Just can’t say enough good about them.
Owner lied about knowing my daughter got punched in the face by a boy who has been harassing her and did not create a safety plan. Also did not consequence her staff for smoking her dab pen in the bathroom instead replaced the pillows she blows her smoke into
We recently relocated to Sand Springs and started with a different day care first. We had a horrible experience and quickly switched to Sandite. Best decision we have ever made concerning the care of our child. He is in the infant room (0-12 month) and they are amazing with him. They work with his development and he genuinely lights up when he sees his teachers. All of the teachers make an effort to know him (even ones that are in other classrooms). They just know what they are doing here, I truly trust them. After one week, we saw a tremendous difference in his attitude and happiness. I'm grateful we found this place!
