My daughter has the best time there, she absolutely loves going to school. Kids are honest, and when they enjoy something, it shows. What sets this place apart is that they not only prioritize academic growth, but they also genuinely care about each child as an individual. This fall, my daughter will be starting kindergarten, and while we’re heartbroken that our journey with SLCP is coming to an end, we’re incredibly grateful to have found them. We just completed our third year overall with SLCP and had another wonderful year. Both my boys loved going to school and felt extremely comfortable in class, with their teachers and classmates. The curriculum is a wonderful blend of teacher-led and student-led learning, covering various topics and skills. I appreciate the mid-year and end-of-year Report Cards since it's interesting to hear more about what they're working on and the progress they're making. (letters, numbers, spelling, handwriting, life skills, social skills, etc). The teachers are very communicative and supportive with each child and any concerns that may have come up. We have been extremely happy with our choice to send the boys to SLCP and look forward to another terrific school year in the fall!
I have three children who spent two years each at SLCP and I can't speak highly enough about our experience there. The teachers are like family to us-- they truly love our children (and all the children) and treat them with such care and patience. They took the time to deeply understand my kids; their strengths, their challenges, what excites them and brings them joy. The level at which each teacher at SLCP wanted to know my children and appreciated them for their unique qualities was unlike anything I could have expected from a preschool experience. I feel deeply connected to the school and found it to be a loving and engaging environment for my kids, one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for their child's first exposure to school.
Our family just finished our third year at SLCP and I can’t recommend this school highly enough. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and genuinely care about your children. I have sent my older 2 children here for preschool and they were both well prepared to enter kindergarten. When my daughter is old enough to attend preschool, there is no where else I’d rather send her to than SLCP. Truly a wonderful experience all around!
Our daughter loves her teachers, friends and the school. We looking for a smaller setting with more attention, experienced teachers and calm and nourishing environment -- and we are happy to have found SLCP. The teachers are fantastic, even the parents like them. Teacher ratio is very good, and the families are very friendly -- we often have playdates after school.
