Please double check all Sheetz for Kidz gifts are going to the correct kids. My daughters bag was mixed up with someone else's daughters bag and although I was able to contact the mother and make the switch I didn't believe my daughter was only given 2 small items and called to ask about it. I later found out (after speaking with a Sheetz for Kidz shopper and learning what was picked for my child) the other mother took items she wanted to keep out of my daughters bag leaving what she did not want while collecting her daughters entire untouched bag (awful thing to do). I'm thankful my daughter was still happy/grateful for those 2 items but that wasn't kind to take from another child. Another parent mentioned not receiving the right bag as well with no luck contacting the other parent leaving her teenager with infant toys/clothes. Thank you to the volunteers for all you do, I know you can't control other parents and mistakes happen. This program is a blessing. Parents control your greed and be more honest. Contact Salvation Army as soon as you realize a mistake was made, this program was meant to bless the children with a wonderful Christmas.
Being new to Lancaster PA, they helped me with a bus pass and a clothing voucher for free. Wonderful ladies that work in the family service department.
I go to church here I have gotten food here from the food bank I go to women's leagues here. And these people have been supportive and very gracious.
As a member of the community, I was totally surprised by the professionalism that the Salvation Army staff showed during Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a beautiful experience watching the Salvation Army staff bring joy, happiness, and dignity to so many parents, grandparents, and children. The community thanks you for all the hard work and time you sacrifice to make children happy. Thank you for all your services.
They really whole heartedly care about people, no matter the color of your skin, they are really a great group of people, and the church is all about love....I just moved here 5 years ago and that feels like Home!! Love you guys. Alexis O.
