St. John's EEC has been such a blessing to our family. My oldest went here two years, and my middle is currently in his second year. We plan to send our youngest when she is old enough. The teachers go above and beyond for the kids and families. They really get to know each student and make preschool such a fun and safe place for them to grow and learn. I highly recommend St. John's to all families looking for a positive first school experience for their kids!
St John’s Early Education Center, which has been open for 60+ years, is such a special place with the most caring teachers and staff. Each classroom has a theme and color which adds to the cuteness of this preschool, but more than just being cute, this school also offers art, music, yoga and Spanish classes, Art Club, Enrichment (where the kids stay for lunch and get extra learning time) Lunch Bunch, and field trips around Old Worthington. As a former preschool teacher myself, I can tell you that these teachers go above and beyond to make sure each child is getting a quality education and experience. All three of my kids have gone to St John’s and I wouldn’t have sent them anywhere else. We love this place!
We love St John’s, it’s like a family not just a school. We were initially recommended by a neighbor who sent both her kids there. When touring, we were delighted to learn about all the extra classes they , you had me at yoga. The teachers are so loving and get to know each kid so well in order to provide for all their unique needs and talents. Our twins are currently in their second year there and I only wish we had known earlier when our son was preschool age that this wonderful environment was available.
St. John’s EEC is a wonderful school with an extremely dedicated staff. Both of my kids have had wonderful experiences at St John’s and have/will be prepared for kindergarten based on the school’s academic focus and thoughtful approach to teaching the kids how to be an engaged student. My kids have felt loved, made friends, and always looked/look forward to their time at St. John’s.
We are so grateful for St. John's preschool! The staff works so hard to create a unique and robust curriculum to prepare kids for Kindergarten and beyond. The teachers take care to learn about your child and genuinely love them so much. The teachers also emphasize inclusion and kindness, which is so important as kids are learning to work together. And we love that they take so many walking field trips around Old Worthington- to the library, Graeters, the bike shop and more! One thing that really sets St. John's apart from other preschools in the area is the extras that are included! It is so unique that my kids are able to have dedicated teachers for yoga, Spanish, music and art class each week. It's a truly enriching environment that goes above and beyond the expectations for preschool. My kids have loved their experience here and were/are well prepared for Kindergarten!
