The Barrington School

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at this daycare, especially during the transition as we were just starting out. From day one, everyone has been incredibly kind and welcoming. Every staff member says hello, and it truly feels like everyone knows our child—not just by name, but as an individual—which has meant so much to us as parents. The food deserves a special mention because it must be that good—our child has suddenly become much less impressed with our cooking at home (kidding… mostly 😄). It’s reassuring to know she’s enjoying nutritious meals and snacks while she’s there. The teachers in the infant room are attentive, caring, and clearly tuned in to all of the babies. Our child can be a bit snuggly and needs that extra reassurance, and the staff consistently make sure she feels seen, heard, and comforted. It’s obvious they truly care about each child’s emotional well-being, not just meeting basic needs. We feel so grateful to have found a place where our child is loved, supported, and happy. We couldn’t ask for a better start.💕

We were referred to Barrington-South by some close friends and I am so grateful that we decided to send our little guy there! We loved watching him learn and develop socially over the past year and the staff at Barrington had an enormous part in his growth. We were anxious about sending him to day care as in infant, but Brittney, Lauren, and all of the infant room staff quickly calmed our nerves with their excellent communication, guidance, and thoughtfulness. We recently moved to AZ so our son is no longer attending Barrington- we will miss all the amazing staff (and the healthy, organic meals by Chef Max) at Barrington. I highly recommend Barrington for any of my friends looking for supportive, loving, and developmentally structured care for their little one!

We have taken our son here since he was an infant. We were turned on to this center specifically because of a close friend who is a teacher there and it has been the best decision we have made for our son's care. There isn't enough to say about Barrington, it made the transition into daycare seem less. We felt at ease and still do. We trust everyone there and our son has truly thrived. Every teacher brings their own experience and care and our son has adapted wonderfully every step of the way. It's clean, they are communicative with us, they post amazing pictures and engage the kids in such great activities that help them grow and learn together. Chef Max is fantastic! Our son has expanded his palate since going to Barrington and he loves it all! Just want to say thank you so so much to the entire staff and directors, Brittany and Lauren! This place is a no brainer for anyone needing the best childcare available.

This location was amazing!! Our son always had the best time and was eager to go to class. We were worried about him not enjoying it and making the daily drop-offs difficult, but he was greeted with warm hellos and made a lot of friends in his classes. He always had activities to do and a great environment to grow in. We have moved out of state and wish we could take Barrington with us. Thank you for the great experience.

We recently transitioned our daughter to this daycare, and the difference compared to her previous center has been remarkable. The level of communication here is truly unmatched. We receive real-time updates throughout the day — not just a recap at pick-up — and they include thoughtful details like what she ate, how long she napped, and even when they apply sunscreen. It gives me so much peace of mind to stay connected to her day while I’m at work. The management team is incredibly responsive and approachable. Anytime I’ve had a question or concern, they’ve addressed it promptly and professionally, without making me feel like I’m being a “helicopter parent” — something I unfortunately experienced at her previous daycare. Although my daughter is still adjusting and often cries at drop-off, the difference we see in her when she comes home has been such a relief. She’s no longer overstimulated or emotionally drained. Instead, she’s calmer, more regulated, and seems genuinely more at ease. The facility itself is also very clean and well-kept. I’ve noticed she comes home with clean hands and a wiped face — no more leftover food stuck to her cheeks for hours, which used to happen all the time before. We’re so thankful to have found a daycare that not only provides excellent care, but also respects and values parental involvement. It’s been a breath of fresh air and a huge improvement for our daughter — and for us.
