Our son is in Ms. Jackie’s class and she has been incredibly kind, supportive and reliable. Same with Ms. Iris. For someone to publicly shame a daycare teacher on a Google review is unbelievable. The school is not perfect but the teachers try their best and our son has always been well cared for and truly loves his teachers. I would recommend checking out all of your options when evaluating a daycare program for your child and then you can make an informed decision for your family. For us, SJCC is the right fit.
SJCC has been an awesome fit for our daughter. We have made great friends with other families at the school and have loved the teachers! She currently has Ms. Jackie and we have been so pleased- she has learned tons from her and gives her a hug when we leave school each day.
This is a perfect fit for us! We could not be more pleased with the teachers! Ms. Jackie is wonderful and our child has learned so much from her! Ms. Jackie cares about the children and the parents she communicates in a very effective manner. We have loved our experience here. SJCC is a hidden gem!
St. John Children Center (f/k/a St. John Child Development Center) opened in 1988. Our daughter Allison (second from the left) started there three months after it opened when she was 16 months old. We removed her from a private home daycare that turned out to be a nightmare. We will always be so grateful for the excellent, loving care Allison received at St. John. Special kudos to Miss Kit who started as a teacher and later became the Director for many years. From all we have heard over the years and the reviews I have just read (with the exception of one), the Center has maintained the same high quality standards that we so enjoyed. To the disgruntled mother, find another place for your child and good luck!
This is in response to the review by Kasey Parker specifically about Ms. Jackie. She is a very caring person who certainly appears to love the children in her class. There may be extenuating circumstances to Kasey's review or perhaps the reviewer is making a a broader comment about the school, but I disagree completely about the two teachers she specifically called out.
