There is a saying good looks and dirty tricks . That is what this school is all about. They show a good environment so that you are fooled . My son went there and was in room 8 with the toddlers. My son would cry and they would not comfort the child . There is no transparency at this school. My son came home with dried poop in his pants because they did not check to see if the child diaper needed changing after his 2.35 pm changing and I picked my son up at 4pm .so that goes to show you how much they care. I went early and my son and he was crying and they did not even confort him but left him to cry and said the teacher stepped away for two minutes . I had to take my son out of that school because there is lack of communication from the teachers, no care for the toddlers. Would not recommend this school to any parent, so parents be careful where you send your kids because they are just looking good on the outside and inside they are not ....
After trying a few daycares downtown, St Elizabeth is the best school we experienced. Everything is so simple and serene in this school. Great sisters, great teachers and even a great building with many playgrounds! And there is also gym and soccer possible from 2.5yo!
My grand children love it there. I’m impressed with the facility. Very clean. Now it is 2023. I just found out that my grandson will be returning after a I year separation to follow his sister who is now too old to attend. I was happy to learn that the school accepted him back. If you want your children to get a good Christian foundation. This is the school.
The school is Jersey City's best kept secret. If public services employees (JCPD, JCFD, Teachers, etc.) send their kids to the school, you know the school is the best. The teachers are caring and attentive. The Franciscan Sisters are strict with policies. The school provides food to the kids. The Kindergarten class leave the school prepared for Grade 2.
Great school for young children. My children are learning so much and I feel at ease knowing that the staff are taking very good care of them. I have recommended this school to others as well and they have all had positive experiences.
