Just was a bystander outside when one of the employees were yelling racial slurs to a black female outside of it. The woman went in to complain and by my surprise a worker came out with the same ethnicity as the woman who was verbally assaulted and she defended the racist worker!! I even tried to call to defend the woman and the worker said it wasn’t her problem, refused to share the racist workers name so I can file a complaint. Then they shut off their phones. We are in 2025 it’s truly disgusting and a shame. On top of that there are black children that go here. I can only imagine how those kids are treated by that worker!!

Please refrain from enrolling your children in this childcare facility. I went in to ask if the owner was available because I was interested in inquiring about the business. I was greeted with arrogance and a vicious attitude by someone I believe was an employee based on how she treated me, as I firmly believe that a business owner would at the very least have some manners. I went in respectfully and I was met with "what do you want?", "how old is the kid?" with her not even considering "could this be a parent interested in enrolling" and "is my attitude even remotely appropriate". When I told her I wanted to speak with the owner about the space and the business (which was not her concern if she was not the owner), she said "well the owner does not have to be there to discuss that" and when she asked again "what do you want?" I explained to her that I was interested in buying the business ONLY if the owner was interested in selling. Almost immediately she hits me with the most aggressive "NO!" and nearly slams the door in my face. Now, I understand if there is an employee who has been advised by their boss to not talk to anyone if they are not a parent, but what was the need for this aggression? If she was the owner and wanted to feel out my "vibe" why couldn't she just tell me in the first place she's not interested in talking to me, like any DECENT human being would? I left her with the words "I was trying to be as respectful to you as possible, if there was no interest in what I had to say, why treat me this way? Her intentions were to HUMILIATE me for no reason. After I left her with those last words the door had already been shut. Parents, if this is how someone speaks to strangers, potential clients, imagine how this person might be caring for your children. I cannot speak on the rest of the staff and am not here to bash the name of this daycare. But, it left a sour taste in my tongue when all this woman could have done was have a civil conversation with me.

Best learning center in jersey city , friendly staff and I love how they are bilingual my child Layla is learning Spanish too that’s amazing ( she is always ready for school and always happy )

We love Bright Star. They are super organized and clean-- not to mention they are the most affordable option in the area. Staff is very friendly.
