Rosebud Child Development Center

I am deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff at Rosebud. The facility employs young, inexperienced individuals who are clearly not properly trained to care for children. This isn’t just about poor oversight, it’s about the safety and well-being of our babies. If you all are going to employ young individuals that can also be my children, get them background check and trained based on the state requirements. Another major red flag is the high employee turnover rate. It seems like every time I visited, there were new faces. That kind of instability is unsettling, especially when consistency and familiarity are so important for young children. What’s even more troubling is the lack of transparency. I was never given the names of the employees caring for my child. I only found out the name of the person who put her hands on my child because my child told me herself. That is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on how the center handles communication and accountability. As a parent, I strongly encourage others to reconsider before enrolling their children here. A childcare center should be a safe, stable, and professional environment unfortunately, Rosebud does not meet that standard.

My child has been attending Rosebud for a year and four months now. I started to remove him because of some administrative and customer service issues(horrible). However, management was changed and things are better than expected. I NEVER had an issue with the way they treated or cared for my son, in the toddler class through the twos. The staff in those classrooms are understanding and welcoming. Communication is the best and they make me feel as if they all care for my child. They speak when you arrive and when you leave, and not just the let me do my job speaking. My son is not talking at this time, age 3. The staff and his teachers are patient and understanding. They are inclusive in their classrooms and overall a welcoming and peaceful place. I feel comfortable with my child attending there and am thankful for the teachers and staff in the building. I could not ask for a better child care facility and village for my son. I now recommend them to anyone in the Grayson area, at this time. I gave another review but could not remember my google profile.

OMG! My daughter is in the infant room and Mrs. Kusumi and Mrs. Ashely are AMAZING. Two months ago I have removed my daughter from a 4.5 star daycare that has a waiting list. We had problems with improper care, unprofessional administrators, and overcrowded classes. I was skeptical to enroll her at Rosebud do to previous reviews, but am so glad I went with my instinct! From the very first day, we felt the love and my daughter is clean, dry, and well fed. The small class size allows for more personalized care and my social anxious child is all smiles and giggles with interactions from her teachers and even the cook (lol). Last week, it was her birthday and the staff went out of their way to purchase cupcakes to celebrate her birthday and even gave her a gift bag. I was speechless with the thoughtfulness and kindness! I 100% recommend this daycare!

Great family oriented child care. My girls have been going to Rosebud for 3 years now and we love it. So sad my daughter is leaving Pre-K this year. Amazing staff. Mrs. Sarah sweet voice makes my morning each day. She hangs the children artwork on the windows which makes me feel connected to the classroom. Great communication from office staff as well. Ms. Yolanda is always on top of any of our needs. She proactive and organized. My girls and I love it here.

If you want your kids in a safe environment do not put them here. I once heard a teacher pull a kid by the arm and cuss at them. I was also left at the school multiple times by the bus driver because I was upstairs and on a whole other side of the school relative to where the bus pickup was. Even when I was outside walking to the bus the lady would leave me. The good staff that actually cared about the kids there always left. Please, don’t send your kids here it’s not worth the money you pay.
