Just wanted to post in case it helps shed light for someone else. Rented from them for 2+ years and I can not recommend. I never leave reviews and honestly likely would have left quietly and moved on, but the way we were treated at the end (after giving them notice that we were buying a home and would be leaving) was just too much after being model tenants for so long. Mainly just feel bad for the actual owner of the home, who likely does not realize how it is being managed. Overall very unfortunate because we really did love aspects of the property.

We have been renting from Betts for almost two years now, and we have not have any problems with them. I have read the previous negative reviews, and what I think some don’t realize, is that it’s not as simple as they make it sound to remedy the issue, especially in the areas that they indicated they are living. Also, they are the managing company, but they are managing for the owners. So their hands are tied as to what the owners are willing to do. As tenants, it’s your responsibility to know your rights.

I've worked with Kat at Betts Real Estate off and on since 2009 for the management of my rental properties, and I've been consistently impressed. Her communication is generally very good, and I appreciate that she has a reliable network of competent service providers, especially when I don't have established relationships with certain trades. Kat does an excellent job marketing and screening tenants, which is crucial for any investor. It's hard to find someone who cares about your properties and tenants as much as you do, but I feel Kat does a solid job in this regard. Some of my investor friends have tried other management companies that are either incredibly expensive or just plain ineffective. While there’s always room for improvement, I’m happy to have Kat and her squad on my team

I've worked with Kat since long before she started Betts Real Estate - she has been nothing but wonderful for our HOA so we followed her when she branched out on her own. We are a very small HOA that other property companies were happy to ignore or do minimal work for. Kat treats us as if we were a much larger company. We've never had any issues working with her....she's a doer and makes your life easier. I would definitely recommend her (and I have!) for your property management needs.
